    I'm creating this thread to see what everyone's plans are regarding leaks, news, trailers, etc., before the release of The Last Jedi this December!

    Personally, I plan on only watching the trailers, a potential behind-the-scenes reel and looking at behind-the-scenes photos, cast/director interviews, and reading official press releases regarding the film. As well as, of course, speculating and discussing everything (non-spoiler) with you guys and girls on these forums!

    I will be watching the trailers for sure & probably the BTS reel & taking part in the speculation thread here at the cantina. As we get nearer to December I may read some f the official press releases & any magazine articles that come out i.e. Empire.

    We know everything we need to, really. A small film called The Force Awakens sets it up nicely ;)
    IF anything, i would like to see the Phasma comic, which i believe will show how she escaped Starkiller Base?

    The month of December will be incredible because the Late Night Shows will be dominated by SW actors. It's a given that Conan O'Brien will dedicate a whole show (along with bits) to TLJ just as he did with TFA. Jimmy Kimmel will also do a whole show dedicated to TLJ (Disney/ABC are a parent company), and the other shows will get various actors like Ridley, Hamill, Boyega and Driver on them too.

    I will probably start watching the OT and TFA around Thanksgiving weekend and that will take me right up to the release of TLJ. I'm telling you guys to just enjoy it because this is it for the last golden era of SW. Now of course they will be making more SW movies past Episode 9, but this is the last set of movies with Luke, Leia an Han and that chapter will close in 2019.

    Yep, I'm in for this too... hopefully the "Journey to..." Phasma story will be slightly more compelling than the somewhat underwhelming Shattered Empire story which preceded TFA.

    Whatever trailers and TV spots there are. No reading about the movie or anything, I go spoiler free. When I read a book I don't even like to read the back cover. When I saw TFA I didn't know what a Kylo Ren or Adam Driver were. Afterwards I was like, "that guy was pretty good, might be worth a Google". The only time I broke down on my spoiler rule for Star Wars was prior to Ep. III, there was a script circulating on the internet and I broke down and decided to read the opening scene. I quit halfway through thinking it sounded like one of those fake scripts I hear sometimes circulate. It just seemed like something a fan wrote and to my surprise however many months or weeks later I was watching Ep. III in the theater and realized it was no fake script.

    Just the trailers as far as this poll is concerned. Already started my chronological marathon of movies, tv shows and novels. Started with Darth Plagueis (although not canon, still sets up the saga perfectly). Watched Ep 1, 2, Clones Wars, then 3 and currently listening to Catalyst. Will listen to many other audiobooks including her new Luke, Leia and Phasma books and will watch all the Rebels in order. Just not sure if I’ll get through everything by 12/18!

    I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, it didn't turned out to be as good as I hoped. The way the FO was presented felt completely out of sync with Life Debt and Empire's End.

    I'll be taking in just about everything except youtube videos. Seems like all of the bigger ones have gotten into click-bait and for some reason, that REALLY grinds my gears. Makes me not want to give them clicks.
