I love how Darth Vader says “Heeee will come to meeeee?” in Return of the Jedi. I don’t know why, but the way he says it always makes me chuckle.

Seeing Luke with his new green lightsaber for the first time in RotJ. Partly because green is my favourite colour, but it's also a cool reveal if you're only watching from the context of the OT, as we'd never seen a green saber before. But of course the scene that accompanies it is pretty cool as well. When Luke signals to R2, who then launches his lightsaber into the air, and then Luke jumps down, grabs onto the plank, then flips up into the air to catch his saber, and then proceeds to utterly steamroll Jabba and his goons. Definitely one of the best "Awww yessss!!!" moments in the series.

The layers upon layers of history shown in A New Hope has always amazed me, considering the fact that this was the first of a new series. True, Lucas had a lot planned and McQuarrie was an artistic genius, but I’m amazed how they’d take the time to put modivadors on droids, all the buttons in the Falcon, or the hordes of stuff on the sand crawler. This was probably the most visually-rich first installment of a series.

^Agreed. On that note, I think it's neat how things like the Clone Wars and the Imperial Senate are mentioned, long before the prequels fleshed those things out. Even for being the first film of a new series, it helps show that George already had an extensive lore in mind.

The Death Star's big explosion in the SE of "A New Hope" is a fave moment for me. As for the other OT films, I'd have to include the lightsaber fights between Luke & Vader, plus a lot of the comedic moments on board the Falcon. Finally, the Sarlaac sequence in "Return of the Jedi" is still cool, with all the stunts and fight choreography.
