What's your favorite scene/scenes from Rogue One?

If you and your squad have guns and the other guy has a staff do you -

1. Keep your distance and fire at him in unison? or
2. Run within striking range of his staff one at a time to demonstrate the ineffectiveness of your body armor?

The nerfing of the Stormtroopers has reached a new low.

For me it was Galen's holographic message to Jyn. Brilliantly acted and emotionally compelling.

 

That whole action sequence in Jedda City, culminated by "Are you kidding me? I"M BLIND!" That was awesome.

 

Yep that's a good one.

 

Best scene ever!

 

Agreed my hearts was pounding out of my chest when he began this rampage, a guy near was disappointed when he didn't get the plans.

 

Love the end scene with vader!!!

 

Memorable scenes:
- When Blue Leader arrives and shoots down the AT-ACT, and everybody is cheering and a familiar Star Wars theme plays in the background.
- When Bail Organa and Mon Mothma talk about Obi-Wan.
- Watching Jyn cry when she sees her father's message.

My favourite lines:
- Are you blind? Deploy the garrison! (Krennic)
- I say the Rebellion is FINISHED! (Senator Jebel)
- I'm capable of running my own diagnostics thank you very much! (K-2SO)

BEST overall moment:
The best moment overall is the scene that unfolds during the song "Your Father Would Be Proud" which plays during the final minutes of Scarif. The musical cues in this piece are so emotional and fits the visuals presented on screen so beautifully. It makes me cry once I listen to it, even without the movie. I think it has to do with the fact that there's little dialogue and only visuals.

During this song, we see many powerful scenes which fit the music perfectly:

- The Death Star appears
- Tarkin says "You may fire when ready"
- Elevator scene
- Krennic looks straight into his greatest creation, and is about to get killed by it
- "Rogue One, may the Force be with you..."
- Hugging scene
- Darth Vader looks through the window
- The data uploading is complete

Too many great scenes in what's hardly a few minutes. They really hit the spot here.

 

Tell me your favorite scene!!!!!!!

 

Favorite scene is the death of Jyn and Cassian. It's part of the same motif, to do with magic being the ability of the self to opposie its source.

Just as the blast happens, Jyn smiles, just like Krennic smiles after being choked by Vader - Krennic's meeting with Vader encompasses the same metaphor as when Jyn dies on Scarif

 

Vader's rampage.

 

There is a lot that I liked about this film.
1. The scene where Cassian kills the informant.
2. When K2SO slaps Cassian.
3. I loved Saul's scenes.
4. The Death Star firing scenes are all fantastic.
5. The Battle for Scarif is great. I loved seeing AT-AT's back on the big screen
6. The part where Raddus says "May the Force Be With You Rogue One" gets me every time.
7. Of course Vader. I mean, who doesn't love seeing Vader?

 

What I love about Rogue One -- besides EVERYTHING and the Vader rampage scene -- is how it enriches and informs the rest of Star Wars; also, how they reused discarded ANH clips (I WANT MORE OF THAT!).

 

1) The Opening with Krennic and the Death Troopers

2) "Oh, it's beautiful!"

3) Battle of Scarif: When the Rebel Reinforcements arrived and everyone on the Ground cheered.

4) As the X-Wing crashed as the Passage above Scarif was closed.

 

It's Hard to not go along with what @Angelman said ^up^ there ...

I have a few scenes that are top favorites:

1. The heroes' escape from Jedha
2. Fight in the streets of Jedha City
3. Jyn and Cassian's quarrel over her father's death (great acting from Felicity Jones and Diego Luna)
4. Baze Malbus' reaction to Chirrut Îmwe's death
5. Jyn and Cassian's deaths
6. Darth Vader's attempt to get back the Death Star plans

 

This scene:

 

Top 3 in no particular order

- Krennic meeting with Vader on mustafar
- the whole of the battle on Scarif
- Saw Garrera’s scenes on Jedha.
