Lol, any scene with K2 has to be the best in R1

The final shot of Cassian and Jyn is really brilliant. Not only is it a really well put together piece of imagery but it manages to avoid the trope of making them lovers that didn't work for their relationship at all by allowing them to share their final moments not alone, but not as a couple. Just two people, proud of their accomplishments, and happy to not die alone, sharing a moment of quiet intimacy and acceptance. Really brilliant.

I've watched it only once, but from what I remember the scene in which Jyn tracks down her father was really good. The ending as well is brilliant, the scenes with Jyn and Cassian to be more precise.

Vader erupting out of the doors with his saber only to demolish and shred each of the soldiers on his way to
showing how important and how powerful his mind really is under his new found alignment in the dark side.

I have to agree. It is a very very empowering scene and shows only a glimpse of what he can really do. It obviously fits perfectly to lead into ANH. And not to mention the amazing CGI Leia considering it was 2016 that just adds to the whole feel of the scene !! :D

Definitely the Vader scene where he slaughters the rebels. But another one of my favorite parts was at the very end when Jyn and Cassian sat at the beach awaiting their death. They both knew they were going to die but they were content because they fulfilled their overall purpose. I always thought that was a beautiful scene. :(

That scene was a testament to Vader’s true power and I think that’s why it was such a great scene. Even though it was easy for him to kill the rebels it shows what he is capable of doing with the dark side.

I think Vader had the best scene...yup, he's a 'baddy' yet it still shows how darn good he is when they only need one person to take out so many.
But, of all the other scenes, what stands out for me is when Jyn tells Krennic they have sent the tapes...and when she and Cassian hugged at the end.:(

    Thought up a few more:
Galen's message - seeing this man tell his daughter that he had left them a way to destroy the Death Star is a tear jerker.
Jyn telling Krennec that they'd broadcast that message all over the galaxy - I actually cheered her
    Every K2 scene
Orson Krennic...completely different kind of Sw baddie
Cassian being the grittiest Sw 'hero' ever
    Darth Vader
And finally....I know I've said it before, but....Jyn and Cassian's deaths. Oh, lord...that made me cry.

Jyn and Cassian's quarrel over her father is a favorite scene of mine, along with the team's escape from Jedha.
