Where do TLJ epic scenes rank

ANH. Binary Sunset.
HS. Uhhhhhh, never mind.
TESB. I am your Father.
ROTJ. Funeral Pyre
TPM. The entire Duel of the Fates.
AOTC. The Wedding

ROTS. Oh god so many. "Ani I'm pregnant", "I HATE YOU!" The declaration of the Nu Order. "So this is how liberty dies......" Vader's first breath but I'd have 2 say the most epic is Vader, Tarkin & the Emperor looking at the DS-1 construction.

The Ewok movies. Uhhh lets not go there.
TFA. Han Solo's unfitting end.
R1. "TAKE IT! TAKE IT"
TLJ. Holdo rams the Supremacy.

 

I'm not sure what to make of some of your moments from AOTC and ROTS.

 

TPM: Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul
AOTC: The ending where the clones load up on the ships for war
ROTS: Mace vs Palpatine
ANH: Luke destroying the Death Star
TESB: "Luke, I am your father"
ROTJ: Vader throwing The Emperor down the pit
TFA: Rey vs Kylo Ren
TLJ: Luke vs Kylo Ren
RO: The Death Star firing on Krennic's platfrom

 

Okay, with epic scenes I presume you mean action scenes and awesome shots, not little emotional moments. In that case the list would be different, but here are my epic scenes from all the Star Wars movies

TPM: When Qui Gon and Obi Wan have their first fight
AOTC: the Clone Army departs for war at the end of the movie
ROTS: The opening shot with the drums.
RO: The bombing strike on the refinery from "they are already engaged sir" (the vader scene at the end is pretty awesome also)
ANH: The call outs of the Rebel pilots (red five standing by etc. etc.)

------------now it becomes really difficult, the following movies are defined by epic awesomeness----------------

ESB: Vader waiting for Luke in the carbon freezing chamber. That sequence and the duel following it are perfection
ROTJ: I used the say the 'the space battle', but I've changed my mind, it's Luke throwing away the sabre.
TFA: The X-Wing rescue on Takodana or Rey pulling the sabre towards her and the fights that follows. Both are pure perfection. I probably like the latter one more.
TLJ: The Praetorians versus Kylo/Rey + the death of Snoke; Luke, hope embodied walks out the base on Crait, the look on the faces of those resistance soldiers; Holdo's sacrifice. All pure perfection. The Praetorian versus Kylo/Rey scene is probably the most perfect, but that Luke one made me cry.

 

Luke's showdown with Ben is the most epic scene in the entire saga IMO.

 

Am i the only one who found the ramming scene and throne room fight less than epic. Maybe because i just could not get into the movie no matter how hard i try.

 

i tried to pick just one from each.

R1: crashing star destroyers (easy!).

ANH: Luke's "no!" when Obi Wan gets struck down and the fight that ensues.
ESB: "i love you", "i know" (yes, i picked this over "i am your father").
ROTJ: this one is the hardest to choose from, but i'm actualy going to go with the funeral pyre at the end.

TFA: Rey catching the light saber.
TLJ: Ren's run on Luke and when he realizes Luke's not there.

Not the most epic scene, or even one of the best, but I rarely see it talked about so I just wanna give it a little attention.

I love the interrogation scene between Poe and Ren in TFA. It's mildly creepy, intense, and you can really see how hard Poe is trying to resist. Love it.

Ya know, I wanna mention all interrogation scenes in the ST. Ren and Poe, both of Ren and Rey's, and Snoke and Rey. I love them.

Shout out Han and Vader's in ESB, love the line "They didn't even ask me any questions."

 

All sw movies are filled with epic moments , and altough i voted TESB for " i'm your father" scene , one scene that i will always cerish is in Aotc , when master Yoda shows up, droping his woden staff and picking up the sword to confront count Dooku , i will never forget sitting in my chair , in the theater , the excitment and the emotions i got at the tough : " omg , are we really gonna see Yoda fighting? ".

 

I'm a small moment guy, so I loved when Luke winked at C3PO at the end knowing he was going to totally play Kylo Ren for a fool. This probably ranks up there with some of my favorite moments of the Saga. Is it true that Hamill improvised it?

 

Hard choice, but nothing can topp ESB and 'I am your father', but directly followed by ROTJ throne room scenes.
