    We will fly to Perth next january as we are going on a trip to Adelaide and Melbourne and Sydney for four weeks. Last year we did the Northern Territory and beautiful Queensland . Never seen such beautiful landscape in my life and havin so much fun.Cheers.

    Well @singlern05 i dislike hot weather, my favorite season being Autumn, I never found palm trees particularly attractive, I hate bugs so the 3 inch cockroaches THAT CAN FLY were a fun surprise and I have always shunned the sun and beaches.. so I thought I know! I'll move to Florida! Perfect!

    haha.. actually besides those things I really like it down here. I miss the cold but my joints do not. Ironically the universe always sends me to all the places i have never wanted to go to lolz

    Haha... yeah I distinctly remember my first WTF moment with the flying cockroaches. Very unsettling. Unfortunately we've had a really warm winter. Normally Jan and Feb are more like Fall up north, my favorite time of year as well. Sadly it will soon be hot and sticky until October. Good time to embrace pools, beaches or AC!

    OK, I am currently living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. We are proud of our OKC Thunder NBA basketball team!

    I grew up in Morrisville, PA (north of Philly). Went to Penn State University, State College PA from 1978-1982. Entered Air Force active duty and have been all over the world.....lived 5 years in Japan (Okinawa 3 yrs and Tokyo 2 yrs). 3 Tours to the Desert, 2 to Saudi Arabia and 1 to UAE. In the USA I have lived in Nebraska, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Oklahoma.

    It is great to see many of the wonderful folks on this thread I have met here so far and interacted with (@Addi Ras @Grand Master Galen Marek @Light Savior_47 @Lazarus Dei @DarthSnow @AstromechRecords @Alex Sebire) and everyone else are from all over the GALAXY!!!

    Alex wow you are from New Zealand? That is so cool. And I had to look up Aotearoa, I did not know the background of that term. So being a huge Lord of the Rings fan (in addition to SW of course), have you ever been to the place(s) in New Zealand where they filmed many of the scenes in the Lord of the Rings movies?

    Just a few. Off the top of my head I've been to one of the forests where they filmed some footage.

    The Tongariro Ranges is a nice hiking place. Mt Nguaruhoe along the walk was used for Mt Doom.

    Also, some other places I can't remember.
