    That's pretty normal. That is why you are supposed to swim between those red and yellow flags. Locals who are good swimmers and know what they are doing can vemture out elsewhere. Then they just have to watch for the sharks

    That's cool man! On my first trip to the U.S. in ’95, I stayed for two weeks with some guys in Round Rock, they had studied at the UT in Austin, where a good compadre of mine (travelling with me), made friends with them during a student exchange. Since then, and now during business trips, it has to be a new basecap and a t-shirt once a while if I get the chance. But I’ve to admit that the selection found at Houston airport is not the biggest. And mine are quite worn out meanwhile.

    I'm from Texas. Was born in Houston and now live in one of its many suburbs. I'm pretty close to the coast (roughly 45 minutes from Galveston island) so it can get pretty humid sometimes, in addition to the heat (especially in summer!), but my whole family lives in and around Houston so I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
