SPECULATION Where was Luke's academy ?

Yep another good choice of a planet, I can see why Luke made that promise.

 

What Han said about Luke (from an online TFA script) was that

He was training a new generation of
Jedi. One boy, an apprentice turned
against him, destroyed it all.

Unless the new Jedi generation was mentioned elsewhere in the movie or supplemental material, there is not necessarily any temple, any planet, or even any deaths. Han says "destroyed it all," not "killed them all" or "destroyed them all." He seems to be referring to a thing destroyed, a new generation of Jedi destroyed, because by driving Luke into exile, it essentially is over for the Jedi.

I can't find the tweet but I remember Pablo once said he wouldn't exactly call it an academy or temple where he trained new Jedi. Whatever that meant

 

The Visual Dictionary says Kylo's skill with a light saber has helped him become known as the Jedi Killer amongst the First Order. I think that implies deaths.

OK, gotcha. I think the spoiler tag threw me off. I thought maybe there was some spoilery indication (that I couldn't figure out) of either 1. where the visions take place 2. whether the bodies belong to Luke's students or 3. how they died.

I still hold that in the movie they're just rocks. If the comic artist and editor thought they were bodies (and the mistake was not caught), then they're still rocks 'cause movies trumps all other media. If you look at the widest image (with the castle/tree in the upper right) all of these objects are oriented the same way, like from some geological formation. That would take some mighty anal-retentive slaughtering to get all of those corpses to line up right. If anyone has a hi res image definitively shows human appendages and features, fine, but until then, they are rocks. Probably from some really rocky place like maybe on some big rock out in the ocean. Where Rey, Kylo, and KoR all have had scenes together.

 

Long story I think is he might have tried to start it on the Capitol of the new republic but it was invaded so he moved the leftovers to ach-to where Ben killed he rest.

Right, the 2 objects in #1 are the most bodylike I have found. If you can zoom, then on the back of the lower ones "head" there are a series of small lumps. On the back of the "head" of the upper one there is a largish lump. All along both of their are more lumps. Going by standard human proportion, they both appear to have had their legs taken off at the knee although no lower legs parts appear. Also d the Knights of Ren have a "little villian"?
