    Where do you think Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will rank among the films?

    Some critics that attended the premiere are saying it's the best of the Saga to date:





    I don't want to be overhyped going in, but from what the reviews look like, this truly could be a transformational film in the Star Wars canon.

    What do you all think? I think it will end up in my top 3 for sure.

    Well, seeing that I haven't seen the movie because its not in wide release yet, I don't know. But I'm highly wary of the hyperbole, which is expected right off the bat. Give it some time and wait for the dust to settle. I probably won't have mind made up on how I will rank it until after the ST.

    Have to let the dust settle, people come out of theaters thinking it's the greatest ever.. then later they watch it at home and the sheen wears off a bit and then gets ranked where it belongs.

    I'm a nitpicker. One simple thing can make or break it 4 me.

    For instance i would of placed R1 second but i didn't like Cassian or Jyn that much. So it's 4th on my list. Cassian looked like he was acting & Jyn was so wooden.

    I place TFA on the bottom below the PT not because of Rehashing or Mary Sueism. I just hated Han's death so much & no big 3 reunion.

    With TLJ its simple. I just want Rey Sky. It's something as simple as that which could make this my # 1.

    I just can't understand the question on this thread, do you really want to consider a comparisson between a movie you never seen with movie you love and have seen dozens of times? Is that even possible?
