    I think we'd all agree that the Han/Leia relationship in the OT was a large part of what made those films so great. And like in any movie, having a couple that care for each other and we in turn worry about is an important contributing factor in terms of building tension.

    In the PT we had Anakin and Padme. :(
    In the OT we had Han and Leia.

    Who will it be in the ST?

    I posted a slightly tongue in cheek idea that Kylo and Rey are in fact star-crossed lovers. That they fell in love at the academy but Kylo turned and Luke hid Rey from him. I think there is enough info out there now to dismiss that theory, but well, we won't really know for another 20 days.

    Could it be Finn and Rey? I'm not so sure about that one. Seems like they have more of a friendship.
    Rey and Poe?

    Hey, Where's Poe and Finn?

    Not that I actually think anyone will have time for that stuff in VII, but so far Finn and Poe seem to have more in those lines, including daring rescues and snuggly TIE fighter rides. They even share a jacket!

    Han and Leia were stunning but Anakin and Padme sucked.

    I still think it would be a huge risk to involve Rey in any kind of romance. Two places it could go are not so appealing to this fan: Hunger Games Land and Anakin Skywalkerville.

    I don't mind either of those love stories at all, just don't want to see them again.

    Zhang Ziyi's character (Jen?) in crouching tiger hidden dragon might be a better inspiration for Rey as a romantic character IMHO

    I doubt that we'll see much actual romance in Episode VII, that seems to be a thing that pops up in the second of the trilogies.
    As for the trilogy romance (which there most assuredly will be one of, Star Wars is a soap opera of a sort), I'd say my predictions run the following.

    1) Rey/Finn, they're the two main leads, it seems reasonable
    2) Finn/Poe, as others mentioned they have the rescuer/rescuee relationship that would lend itself fairly well to a romance
    3) Finn/Someone Else, Out of the three leads, Finn seems to me to be the most likely for a romance, so maybe it's someone out of the trio.

    I know that Romeo and Juliet type of romance is overused in the film industry. But it'd be interesting to see one in Star Wars, really. Love, that would bring the sith; the jedi and the universe to peace:). Not Rey and Kylo, though. I want them to be siblings.

    Wow, why all the disagreements?

    I'm here for this.

    Personally, I'd love to see Poe and Finn. That dynamic would be fantastic. But sadly in the world we live in it's safe to say that's not gonna happen. So, my vote goes to Rey and Finn. Those two are just too cute.
