SPECULATION Which Character Is Most Likely to Die?

Since Episode IX is the end of the Skywalker Saga, the grandson of Anakin Skywalker will most likely depart at the end.

 

I hate these types of threads.

 

Kylo will die I guess. I think its hard to redeemed a character that Killed his own father.

 

Chewie.

They'll get rid of the OT characters.

 

I think none of the characters you've mentioned will die, even though I would "like" to see Poe die.

You don't need to kill Kylo to end the Skywalkers. Maybe Kylo/Ben ends the Skywalkers' curse once and for all and this is the end of the Skywalker saga.

Not harder than Vader.

Leia, Chewie and Lando will survive the ST. I'm sure about that.

 

Perhaps but there are a few people who are blind about that and just don't care. but because of that and his last name, people see the character as too important to die and once again that has issues.

It's a weird world.

Star Wars is about redemption, forgiveness and friendship. I think people who don't get that are actually blind. And btw alot of people want Kylo to be redeemed (alive) not because of his name, but because of Han and Leia. They want(ed) him to come back, so they tried everything. Don't let Han's death be for nothing etc.

 

none of those characters will die in episode 9 imo.

i suspect most of the newly added cast will bite the bullet/laser/saber (hopefully as KOR members), and then there's Hux.
we all know he's gonna go lol.. i just hope that he finds his backbone first and becomes the villain that he is capable of being.

 

If it were up to me I would give Poe the kind of death Harrison Ford wanted for Han in ROTJ. But I don’t think any of these characters will die.

 

I really don't want this to happen, but I think Kylo is the most likely out of the listed characters. Followed by Poe, but that's a small chance. I think Rey, Finn, Poe and Chewie will survive for sure.

Killing Chewie would be such a low blow and blatant tearjerker.

 

i don't think any of the above characters is going to die in IX. we'll have some very near misses, and maybe even a "oh no they're dead, but not really" moment, but i think i think this whole crew is going to make it through. : D

Of those listed I would say Kylo would be the most likely to die. There is a chance that he will physically die for sure. Also, if Ben Solo is redeemed, and survives, Kylo will be “dead” as Ben is “reborn”

 

Chewie is not gonna die. He has a long lifespan and can be portrayed by different actors. Most likely to die is certainly Kylo Ren.

 

In order of likelihood of dying:

1. Kylo Ren
2. Leia
3. A gaggle of characters people will be upset by but ultimately aren't important
4. Hux
5. Chewbacca
6. Poe
7. Rose
8. Finn
9. Rey

 

I don’t see any of those characters dying, but out of the ones listed, Kylo is the most likely.

That being said, the only way I could see them making his death work is if he sacrificed himself for Rey or was shown with Han and Leia afterward to show that he “came home,” just like Leia wanted him to. But honestly, if Episode IX is still supposed to be Leia’s film even in the slightest, Kylo will be redeemed and survive. After all she’s been through, she at least deserves that.

We’ll see, though. All I know is that I don’t have it in me to watch Chewie die, and to be honest, I don’t know how I’m gonna be able to handle Leia dying if she does in this film. As it is, watching her get blown into space in The Last Jedi nearly gave me a heart attack.
