yeah teh detail is very crazy with the inside being white which mirrors his emotions and the light and dark side.

Very ellaborate. My poll vote was for TFA Jedi Master robes obviously, but personally I would rock the medal ceremony uniform. I like the combination of colors and rogue look.

 

Yellow pleather ceremony jacket is the best.

 

Probably ROTJ. Although I’m conflicted since it’s odd now after the PT. If Luke was going around telling everybody he was a Jedi, then why didn’t he dress like one? What’s with the sassy black number? Meh, still cool.

Although, that swaddling blanket he wore in Ep3 was pretty dope

I don’t know if I’ll ever have another appropriate opportunity for this, so I’m putting it here.

Before TPM, I always thought Luke’s ROTJ outfit was typical for a Jedi. I mean, he doesn’t look like any of the other Rebels. He’s wearing matching tunic and jodhpurs, a very militaristic type of style, almost Imperial. It looks like a uniform to me. Couple that with the fact that he declares himself a Jedi to anyone who will listen (even to Yoda), and it seems like a pretty logical conclusion to come to, to me.

The look of the Jedi from the PT though, threw a giant wrench into that and it doesn’t make much sense to me. I don’t really understand why they dress all ‘bohemian chic’. Think about it, if your primary weapon for offense and defense was a scorching laser stick that could burn through anything it touches, would you really deliberately drape yourself in loose fitting robes? Just dangling about? These jokers’ threads should be constantly covered in dozens of little singes, right? Especially since they’re always irrationally twirling them around for eye pleasing dramatic effect.

With that being canon though, now it’s kind of inexplicable. Luke decides to dress like circa 1985 Michael Jackson just for funzies? Just because? I know it’s a stupid thing to get hung up on, but I’m a pretty stupid guy, so it bothers me. So there.

Somewhere (???) I remember coming across the fact that due to budget Luke's medal-ceremony jacket is the same as Greedo's. I mean thee same. Yes, Greedo's was painted green. And wearing a vest but still.

Back on topic.
I really like the ESB tan suit and blue saber combo but not the huge front upper pockets. So I'll go with ROTJ black but only with a green light saber.

 

The standardized Jedi outfit bothered me too because all I could think about is Owen Lars wearing the same thing, and he wasn't a Jedi.

The Clone Wars differentiated a bit more, but only a slight bit more.

TCW also introduced the idea of adding trooper armor to the standard getup, which was cool. But then isn't in Ep3, which is odd. I know it was made after ROTS, but the Tartakovsky version wasn't. Yet another 'panty buncher' for me

 

He comes to Jabba's palace with a fresh haircut/dye job combo, entire new wardrobe, $500 boots, black versace belt and a handmade lightsaber, what a look. Iconic.

 

Plus that sweet sweet cloak he just leaves in the Rancor pit. “Eew, this one’s dirty now. I don’t want it anymore.”
