    There have been rumours that Leia is severely injured early on in Ep. VIII, which would limit her on screen presence and potential impact to the story line. With that in mind, which OT character to you think Rian Johnson will utilize the least in ep. VIII?

    Most definitely C3PO. This golden boy already got a small amount of screen time in TFA, it won't be different for EPVIII. R2D2 will have much more screen time in the next installment though, at least that's what I'm hoping for.

    I agree. I think R2's screen time will increase as it would appear that he will be tagging along with Luke & Rey.

    I agree with 3pio and/or Leia. I voted 3pio because even if the rumors about Leia are true she still likely be used more than 3pio

    If I have to guess, C-3PO. Luke, Rey, Chewie, R2-D2 and Falcon go together and while Luke and Rey will dominate, the other three will share the screen time with them. Leia, even if rumors are true, is a key figure in the Resistance. We can count on a couple of impactful scenes. C-3PO's hand-wringing and doom saying we can skip.

    Least screen time for an OT character - Lando, because he won't be in it despite what some people want
    2nd least - Han, who may be in a flashback scene, but nothing more
    3rd least - 3PO

    I don't know if Anakin/Vader will make an appearance or not (as a force ghost). I hope not, but if he does I think it would be very small.

    Hmmm.. possibly 3PO, but I think he'll be with Leia, who I think, although small, will have an important role. I'm still holding out hope that Leia will encounter Luke at some point. I know that's paying fan service, but at least that would be great. These two characters have some issues to resolve and they need to meet. It should have impact, emotion.

    So, I'd say 3P0. Which would be disappointing, but they've added soooo many new characters. Again, just hope for a good story.

    I like this question, because it's not just about screen time. For example, in TFA, Luke had less screen time than C3PO, but I would say he was utilized more than C3PO, in that Luke's character was basically the McGuffin that propelled the plot. Whereas you could remove C3PO from TFA and nothing would change with the story.

    It's interesting that C3PO is the only one on this list who didn't contribute to the plot: Luke's absence is a motivating factor, Leia made decisions that impacted the Resistance and Han/Kylo, R2 provided the map coordinates, Chewie and the Falcon were involved throughout.

    So I guess what I'm saying is that I hope everyone is utilized, rather than standing around just to have them around.

    C-3PO's droid contact at Maz's castle, is who alerted C-3PO that BB-8 and Han were at Takodana. Without Threepio, the Resistance would not have gone there to save Han, Finn and Chewie from being captured and possibly killed.
