Well we know for sure there's going to be new planets (i.e. the beach/pacific one), and there's the planet that looks like Sullust. I just hope that Rogue One and the future anthologies (and Episodes) add more depth to the Star Wars universe. I want to be immersed into worlds I've never seen or experience before. I think Rogue One is a great opportunity for this.

Was it definately a beach in the R1 trailor though? I thought it could have been an oasis in the dessert at first.

Why do planets in stalwarts have singular climates/geography? It's kinda weird...

Definately Despayre. DS1 was built over it.
Maybe Coruscant. Because Imperials are in it.

But could have been moved later on as they where facing difficulties after 18 years or so of construction at one site. I assume, that already in the Tarkin novel they mentioned that they moved to a deep space construction side.

It was. In the book Tarkin, the last paragraph, it tells how the DS moved past Geonosis' orbit and went into deep space, with Tarkin onboard.

Was that while it was still in its baby stages of being built because this new description makes it sound like it's in even worse shape than The DSII was in during ROTJ

Indeed. Hear the music playing, and then it drops out. A second passes, and then, with an audible groan, the Death Star sets off accompanied with a thunderous chorus of the Imperial March.

I wonder how the Death Star manufactures gravity, so people on the bottom half don't fall, and toilets work?

Ships in Star Wars travel along a flat plane and the Death Star is the exact same way and they still make their own gravity where in reality you normally would see people floating. The concept is that if you spin at a certain velocity you can achieve an artificial gravity. This can be seen in the movie Interstellar.
