I wouldn't even trust him with a CGI scene, because he would turn it into a clusterfuck crammed full of as much blast as he could fit in the frame. CGI ruined George Lucas as filmmaker if you ask me.

Hasn't this man ruined Star Wars enough? We have three unwatchable episodes because of him. We don't need any more.

I think they are incredibly cheesy. I still watch them, but I could puke rainbows when I'm finished.

It's the opinion of anyone who knows what makes a movie good. Those movies were laughable piles of crap. There are no excuses for them. They are junk.

Ah yes. Keep drinking the Plinkett Kool-Aid. Over extend the bad while never focusing on the good. Go back to the 2000's prequel basher.

Keep pretending those movies aren't hot garbage. All of it's bad, except the music. No over-extension at all. Total cringe-inducing crap. You prequel fanboys never have been able to defend them. You saw them as kids when you didn't know any better, and then you ignore all the idiotic and terrible aspects of those trainwrecks.

Of course, none of this has anything to do with the topic at hand. Instead, we have to be mean-spirited and get threads locked. Congrats.

J.J. Abrams is directing Episode IX. Now we know.
