    George Lucas has said in the past that Star Wars is about the Skywalker family. While I think George likes to make things up as time passes, I'm still inclined to agree that the Star Wars saga must be about the Skywalker family.
    We don't know who is continuing on the gene pool (if anyone), but assuming that someone is, who do you think is the new Skywalker (genetically speaking)?

    Rey is probably Luke's daughter and Kylo is probably Han/Leia's son, therefore they're both descendants of Anakin.

    Somebody is otherwise teaser 2 where Luke is talking about the force wouldn't have been used. Odds on favorite is Rey. Luke's tone is even like he is talking to a female.

    Like many, I am thinking Rey and Kylo Ren, but we might not find out in TFA. Some things might only be revealed in later movies.

    Why not just make everyone a secret Skywalker? Snoke is Anakin's twin brother who was separated at birth, Poe's real father is Luke because Luke and Poe's mom got really drunk after Endor and forgot the night until she found out she was pregnant, Rey is Luke's daughter, Kylo is Leia's son, Finn is Leia's son by Lando after she divorced Han, Hux is Luke's son by his now-dead wife, Phasma is Anakin's daughter by that one chick he forgot about on some backwater planet, and Max Von Sydow can be a rapidly aged clone made from Anakin's DNA.

    I always thought it be cool if Rey climbed the steps of the temple and found Luke already training another offspring.
