    I've never done a midnight opening or worn a costume to a theater before. But I think 2015 might be the year! Anyone here going to camp out for this thing?

    I was at every prequel midnight release. I was about 9 at the Ep 1 release, 12 at Ep 2, and 15 at Ep 3. For the first one we just went to the movie, for Ep 2 my cousins and a friend came and we had lightsabers with us, and for Ep 3 my friends and I dressed as Jedi/Sith. It was a blast. As for Ep 7, my wife would probably make me watch the movie alone if I were to dress up and she would pretend she didn't know me lol.

    I was at every midnight premiere for the PT. In fact I worked at a theater in 1999 just so I could be one of the first to see TPM -- I was a projectionist and had to put both films together. Then at midnight -- no public showing for that one -- we played the movie in two theaters for friends and family to make sure that it was put together correctly. It was! :p I even got some souvenirs from that experience.

    BUT I have never dressed up. My niece is going as Leia from ANH. I don't think I will dress up but as we get closer maybe I will -- ANH Han Solo????

    I'll be 41 when Episode VII comes out next year...just getting too old for that kind of thing.

    Well, I do plan on going multiple times -- midnight showing of course and then the first official showing during the first day. I think I could squeeze a showing in with you. Let me think on it.

    I proudly own about 30 different Star Wars t shirts ....i wear one most days....i am sure I will wear one to the premiere. But I am looking forward to seeing all the people wearing their costumes. Good times

    I will be. It's going to happen no matter what. As who you might ask? None other than the mysterious Kylo Ren. Hopefully by then the 501st will have requirements for the costume up and I will be officially part of the group.

    Who will you dress up as and why?

    For me personally, I chose Kylo to be my first costume because none of the canon sith lords really attracted me (other than ROTS pre armor Anakin), and a trooper costume seemed to hard to walk in and carry round.

    I will be at Celebration London next year as well.

    The main reason I will be joining the 501st legion is to pay my respects to a franchise I love so very much because it has changed my life in so many ways, and I have always wanted to do some sort of charity work but never really knew what to do.

    This movie will awaken a new generation of fans and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
