    Many of us have been wondering who the mystery man is in Darth Vader #1. The writer has said in an interview that the character will play an important role im the story.

    My theory is that he is the first (shown at least) Emperor's Hand. Sidious is definitely keeping something from Vader.

    I'd love to see them make this group canon ... so perhaps it's just wishful thinking. What do you think?

    I don't have any idea on what his actual role will be, per se, but his cybernetics seem to match up with the Ep. VII concept art for Montross or whatever they may be calling him.

    My guess? The mystery man just there to make Vader think he's not Palpy's #1 anymore. Perhaps to push Vader, incite jealousy, ect.
