    When Kylo says, presumably to Snoke, "Together, we will destroy the Resistance and the last Jedi", I think we all presume he is talking about Luke. And don't get me wrong, he most likely is. But I want to put forward to other ideas.

    1. He is talking about Leia. Kylo (rightly or wrongly) believes Luke to be incapacitated or dead. Leia has been trained in the Jedi ways. Kylo believes in destroying her he will eliminate the Jedi and the Resistance in "one swift stroke". After all, if Luke is missing and not connected with the Resistance, why does Kylo refer to essentially killing two birds with one stone?

    2. He is referring to Rey. Is there more to her story than being left on Jakku at the age of 5? With Kylo questioning her just being a scavenger, it is as if he expected something more from her. A five year old is probably too young to be even mentioned in the same sentence as being a Jedi but we did have pretty young padawans in the trilogy-that-should-not-be-named.

    3. This was dialogue from the flashback, before Kylo and the KOR attacked the academy and either killed or took Luke hostage. We hear the dialogue as he has Luke's saber at the time and Maz uses said device to create the "Force Back".

    4. Lor San Tekka is a Jedi. When the temple/academy is attacked, he flees with the saber and Rey and goes to Jakku. The dialogue is at the beginning of the film and Kylo believes his actions now will destroy the Jedi and Resistance - fortunately Rey, Finn and Poe escape with the saber...

    Luke is the last. Vader was the last Sith? Snoke is the new evil but called something else? Rey is the new light side force hero but called something else too? Not Jedi, Not Sith?

    Yeah he didn't say "only remaining Jedi in the galaxy you are". Yoda could totally be wrong. He was wrong before. Yoda isn't perfect.

    Kylo Ren seems to be at first after Luke Skywalker.

    Then it seems his attention turns to Rey at some point in the movie and he takes off with her instead of killing her.
