    Snoke orders Hux and Kylo to leave the base and come and meet him. It didn't really seem like they had much time to get off the planet... But surely they did.

    What about Captain Phasma? Did she get off? What even happened to her - was she really just thrown in a trash compactor?

    Any other members of the First order? Also - how big is the first order? Are there armies on other planets? With the destruction of Starkiller base that must have been a hefty blow to their numbers. I don't get the impression that they are as large an organisation as the Galactic Empire...

    So many questions... What are your thoughts?

    I would wager that without death sequences, it is probable that every named character escaped. This includes: Hux, Kylo Ren, and Phasma

    They may all even be bunking up on the same ship.

    I think they all got off. On the size of the FO, I think this will be a major setback to them, hence maybe a certain B Del Toro will come from the unknown regions with his forces, either painted blue or not, to bolster their numbers.

    Not a big deal. It IS counter-intuitive. You'd think it would be safe. But for those who view the board from the "new posts" section all the titles are visible. You can also see the first thread on every sub-forum form the main forum menu.

    There's was absolutely no indication whatsoever Phasma survived. Still, producer Kathleen Kennedy has said Phasma will return in Episode VIII. I would've liked five seconds of Hux and Phasma walking to a hangar with a ship waiting for them.

    I'm not sure which choice is the better one here:
    A. We're lead to believe Hux, Kylo and Phasma died in the explosion - The End.
    B. We get to see Hux, Kylo and Phasma escape - To Be Concluded / A Cliffhanger.

    I like self-contained stories with a definitive ending. I'm so conflicted... ;)

    They probably filmed it but cut it for time purposes, since they expect an audience of this caliber to fill in the blanks as well as leave some mystery for Rian Johndon in VIII .
