George should write, I said write, the Episode IX. It's just my opinion.

For the third spin-off, Neil Bloomkamp is a good choice, I loved District 9 and Elysium. Another good one is Matt Reeves, who directed Dawn of the planet of the Apes.

As for Nolan and Tarantino... I don't know if they match with Star Wars style. I fear that a Nolan Star Wars film can be too much dark and realistic. And Tarantino, he would have to do a PG 13 movie, without all the gore and bad words.

I'm looking forward to seeing Chappie. I think Neil Blomkamp would be a logical choice to direct. He has a very original style, and his films have equal measure of action, humor and heart.

Another interesting director would be David Fincher. He can do anything from Se7en to Foght Club, and he's possibly the most reliable director on the market today. Not sure how he would work with Star Wars, as most of his films become more like sociological studies rather than blind entertainment, but given the right plot, I feel he could work marvels with the universe.

As @DarthDwight pointed out in another post, David Fincher was an assistant cameraman on ROTJ, so he already has experience making a Star Wars film. It would certainly be interesting to see what he could come up with!

    Matt Reeves.

Close collaborator of JJ Abrams, and I loved Cloverfield.

I know he is rumored to be attached to the new Planet of the Apes movie, but he will be free for the final spin-off in 2020

If Cuaron does a SW movie it will be the greatest film of them all.
