    Who do you all think the main villains or antagonists for Indy 5 will be?

    I personally think that since the Soviets were used in Indy 4, the timeline would really only allow for one enemy: the US Government. This movie will likely take place in a time when there was a growing distrust/dislike of the US Government.

    What do you all think?

    I wouldn't toss out the idea of Indy going against the Soviets again, but I wouldn't be opposed to him up against some governmental organisation.

    Given the options... I think a private organization makes more sense. I could a much more closer knit enemy to Indy, and that will draw the audience in more than any other type of villainy.

    I like the idea of another Cold War Indy movie. Spielberg's latest movie "Bridge of Spies" was an excellent Cold War film. It would be fitting for Spielberg to make a new Indy adventure with a dose of Bridge of Spies and definitely serves the character properly and continues moving the overall story of Indiana Jones forward.

    Well I think the poster meant a new form of nazis...not NEOd but sort like how Indy is old and on an adventure, well so are the nazis in the 50s/60s .

    Timeline will be mid 1960's correct? My guess is something in SE Asia. Pre-US entry into the vietnam war. With Chinese military as the antagonistic competition for whatever he is searching for.

    A return to China could also make way for the return of an adult Short Round. :) Who I guess would just be Round now. Or possibly Tall Round depending on how puberty treated him.
