SPECULATION Who Will Rise to be a New Inquisitor? - POLL

That's the one. I just find it hard to believe they are going to make another alien dark jedi type that seems to be a mirialan. It could be a new character, but my money is still on that they left out the tattoos in the concept art and she will be barris.

 

I'm still leaning towards Offee as well. She was not super popular, but popular enough for us to remember her name, and the strife between her and Ahsoka would only enhance her participation in the series as an Inquisitor.

That and like @guywalker I agree that the concept art does more-or-less look like Bariss minus the tattoos.

 

I agree. The face is too green, almost like a falleen (Xizor's race), plus she has very pointy features, vs Bariss's more rounded features. These details could just be a little off because its concept art, so I'll not be shocked if it is Bariss.

Keep in mind Kallus was a Chiss in the concept art, so the final reveal could make this inquisitor anyone.

VENTRESS!!!!!!! It makes sense. The Rebels season two preview looks like they show her with a helm with a male Inquisitor.
But it also could be Barriss Offee too, which also makes sense.

1.Here is a picture of the two Inquisitors for season two of rebels. Note on the female you can see some of the skin on the chin area? is it green?


2.Here in the picture is Barriss Offee, but I don't know if this is concept or fan made, looks like concept to me.

 

From the shape of her body/head I thought it was Ventress. And it could still be. There was some concept art released (sorry, I don't have it) that showed a completely new character. But that was just concept art and maybe that was a placeholder character. No clue.

 

I would bet Barris Offee as Inquisitor with Asaj Ventress also making an appearance. However I want Mara Jade, come on Disney throw us Legends fans a bone.

 

Personally I would like them to use Mara in this role. I think it would be a nice nod to the EU.

 

Rey with the help of Finn will take down the Inquisitors. Rey will then go on her own to defeat the Sith.

 

IMO, if they use Mara Jade (not a "Mara Jade-like" character, but Mara Jade herself) as the new female Inquisitor, they have to show her having moral doubts and finally redeem her, or it will be a total betrayal to the character.
Personally, I don't want her to be.
I'd rather see Barriss Offee in that role. I was fond on her and I was initially annoyed when she became the traitor on TCW. But, since she has already crossed the line, I think Barris being an Inquisitor is just logical and coherent with the character progression

 

Mara Jade is a favorite.

Barriss has blue eyes.

 

That doesn't mean anything. The Pau'an Inquisitor has yellow dark side/Sith eyes, which it seems like this Inquisitor has as well.

However, the facial markings on this Inquisitor and Barriss aren't the same at all. I'm beginning to wonder if Barriss will be introduced later as an Emperor's Hand, since it doesn't seem like she's this Inquisitor.

 

I want it to be Barriss (got credits riding on it.) Just pointing out that the eyes are different.. Aren't sith eyes red rimmed with yellow? Are we sure that's even a thing? Anakin's changed when he was turned. Senator Palpatine had blue eyes for most of the PT, and he was a Sith Lord the entire time.

 

Where are the pictures from? I think it is the first time that we have a clear view of the female Inquisitor's face. If it is Barriss Offee, what happened to her distinctive face tattoo?
