Who would you cast as a young Han Solo?

Here's what I will say about this. Daisy Ridley never watched the movies and now she's the face of the franchise. I don't think we can let these things get in the way of who is the best actor for a role. Not saying he's the best or worst choice. Just that these cannot be the deciding factors.

 

Oh agree I just saw this wondered if it was true, I know someone cast should not have to spend the earlier reading up on upcoming movies for fear not knowing enough knowledge of them would deflate their chances of being cast.

 

Are you sure about that...I thought that I remember her saying that she's seen SW when she was little but wasn't a diehard fan although she enjoyed the movies .

 

well well, it appears that Harrison Ford shares my oppinion about the Han Solo movie. His advice to the actor who will play the role of young Han - "Don't do it!"

 

The current rumored shortlis is: Alden Ehrenreich, Jack Reynor, and Taron Egerton.



If I had to pick from those three I would pick Alden Ehrenreich. I've never seen any of his movies, but I heard he was really good in Hail, Caesar! He definitely seems to have the look.
