Who's your favorite Bounty Hunter?

My favorite bounty hunter has always been Boba Fett. As to his fate? I really don't know. I hope he survived.
IG-88 is my second fav.

 

I'm actually a Jango fan. I know he didn't do *that* much and got taken out by Mace like a chump. But there's just something about him that I like.
Maybe it's just that his armor's all shiny.

 

Ig-88 assassin droid ..great back story aswell which indicates a droid revolution...also has a blue milk dispenser for a head ..........amazing

 

Played by a great actor that had the charisma to fill the role. Indeed, the scenes revolving around Jango are my favorite memories of the PT.

Now, just search your feelings and tell us how you feel about the Cylon warriors from BSG 1978. ;-)

 

Boba, has to be Boba. However, IG-88 a close second. Dengar always reminded me of Mr. Bump from the Mr. Men and when I played with my Star Wars toys as a kid, I always made him the unlucky accident prone one of the bounty hunters.

Always will contend that battle droids in the PT should have been mean and dangerous like IG 88

 

Absolutely. I'd love to see IG-88 to act and fight like the Terminator.

I also will always have a soft spot in my heart for Boba Fett.

 

I know some might call this lame but I do like Boba Fett the most of the Bounty Hunters in the GFFA.

Looks bad ass,got punk'd in ROTJ as some say but still,like him the most.

I'm in the Cad Bane club. Will we get to see him in one of the upcoming movies? I read somewhere he had something to do with training Boba Fett so maybe in that movie?

Well other than Boba Fett I like Bossk, Aurra Sing and Cad Bane.

 

As much as I like Boba, I'd have to pick the underrated Jango Fett instead. To me he came across as a more intelligent, and honourable man than his 'son'; ended up getting the cooler looking armour too.

 

I tend to approach this a couple of different ways, because, on the one hand, characters are more favorite/interesting to me based on my knowledge of them.

On the other hand, the bounty hunter characters are often appreciable through their mystique -- by what little is known or revealed about them.

So, in my personal order of "most interesting" bounty hunters based on what I've seen of them in the films, are:

• Jango Fett
• Boba Fett
• Boushh (posthumously impersonated by Leia)
• Zam Wesell (a shapeshifter in the Star Wars universe)

In terms of pure mystique, without factoring their actual presence or screen time in the films:

• Boba Fett
  
• IG-88 (always wondered how he could move)
• 4-LOM
• Aurra Sing (wish they had at least filmed a full and meaningful scene with her beyond the glimpse of her during the pod race)
• Bossk
• Zukuss

And then there's Cad Bane from The Clone Wars animated series.

yeah, does Boushh count? Boushh was my favorite action figure when i was a kid.

 

I think so, at least in the sense that Leia stepped into Boushh's persona convincingly enough for Jabba the Hutt, who presumably would have known of Boushh, along with possibly one or more of the other bounty hunters in that scene in Return of the Jedi who might have crossed paths earlier with the real Boushh to know the difference.

Notice Boba Fett stepped in and was ready, taking Boushh seriously, as did Jabba, who quickly changed his tune.

I was immediately reminded of Boushh when I first saw some images of what turned out to be Rey in a desert outfit with goggles (i.e. the one she wore when entering the derelict Star Destroyer at the beginning of the film).
