You probably refer to this podcast. There is a lot of small references and cues spread throughout the Rey's Theme, but I'm not sure if anything "Dark Side" is in it, like the Dies Irae motif. I will have to give it another listen.

It's a YouTube video by an actual composer talking to a class of musicians. He plays parts of Rey's theme as well as the imperial march, and within the layers there is a similarity.

I don't know how to link stuff using a pad, so I'll tell you the name of the YouTube page. It's called "Star Wars 'The Force Awakens' secrets, Orchestra reveals the origins of Rey".

One possible explanation is that the Force made Rey and Ben so powerful in order to "prepare" the galaxy for an onslaught of powerful non-Sith dark-side force-sensitives. Perhaps there was another dark-side order separate from the Siths, but they had been trapped on a planet somewhere. Snoke was the first to escape and to re-emerge in the galaxy, but others like him were about to follow. Of course, if this explanation turns out to be correct, then the stories of those upcoming conflicts would have to be told in movies after the ST.

Maybe because they come from a family strong with the force and the force knows who to choose as the chosen ONES.

Anakin was the Destroyer, Luke was the Redeemer, Rey is the rebirth. Related or not each has a function.

We know through the SW database that Rey and Kylo have some sort of connection. It only makes sense that this connection is through the Force.
in one of their earlier podcasts MSW stated that in TLJ we will learn more about Rey’s connection to the Force
It seems to me that it is the Force and the connection that Rey and Kylo share that contributes to their power.

The force figured that it needs 2 "chosen ones" this time, just to balance things out (literally). But since it can't do anything the easy way, it decided to play a game of "Which one will get more messed up?" The force was like "Let's have one be abandoned in the desert, and let's have the other one under an evil monster's influence. Yeah, THAT should make things interesting!" And here we are.

I've mentioned it elsewhere, but I think that Ben's age when he supposedly turns to the dark side - very heavily implied to happen during or shortly after Bloodline, roughly six years before TFA - is a brilliant unseen touch.

He would have been 22 or 23 at this point; Anakin was 22 when he was seduced by Palpatine and turned to the dark side in ROTS (41 BBY to 19 BBY), whereas Luke was 22 in TESB, when Vader attempted to seduce him to the dark side (19 BBY to 3 ABY).

A further point of note is that we won't see Ben, in the present tense at least, at the age of 19, the ages at which Anakin and Luke's Force latency became more obvious (in AOTC and TESB), whereas Rey is 19 in TFA and TLJ, which obviously indicates some connection between Rey, Luke and Anakin, but also suggests that we could see Ben Solo's Force latency become more obvious on a Force/flashback sequence/scene.
