    Yoda is being playful.

    Others have pointed out. He wants Luke to let go and let Rey and the force to work it out.

    Lucas talked about the core of the Dark Side being trying to control. Luke was trying really hard to control things for all the right reasons and it got messed up.

    Ironically this is very much what he should have learned about the Tide.
