For the record I loved certain parts of TLJ, but loathed others. For me it's a good movie, not an amazing one,

You have too much faith. It's a multi billion-trillion €$¥£ franchise and she is a main header. If she says no they'll offer insane money and she'll say yes. She might even use it as a trick to re negotiate higher pay for X.

Btw I agree with you completely, being not movie star levels rich I find those comforts acceptable. But Daisy doesn't need to leave SW to have life and a family. In fact she'll need money to afford one; putting food in the table, a comfortable lifestyle for them, school fees, bills etc. Money drain goes on and on lol.

 

I find it fascinating that so many people are convinced (by a reason-to-lie villain) that Rey's parents were "nobodies". In fact, my strongest sense after seeing TLJ is that Ben/Rey are twins. That would explain their continued connection even post-Snoke death. It would also be electric to consider the Skywalker bloodline continuing on.

 

Why so bent? There was absolutely nothing convincing from Ep 8 to tell us (with complete certainty) that her lineage has been revealed and sealed.

You are right, for all we know those might have been Rey's adoptive parents on Jakku, but done get your hopes up.

 

I still think Rey's parents are Chewey and Maz, who both have amnesia because of the horror of them both copulating together.

 

Ben is much older than Rey.

 

Is that true? Or just assumed? I have never looked into their age.

 

Rey is 19 and Ben is 29 or 30. there is at least a 10 year difference between them according to canon.
