Sure, not saying that they do. I'm not sold we're gonna see BT-1 or Black Krrsantan on film anytime soon. Just saying that we've got TCW, Rebels, the comics, etc- eventually, I wouldn't be surprised if some crossovers happen eventually (which, technically, they already have started).

but they aren't going to force a character like Ahsoka or Ezra it a story in a way that under minds the other movies out there just to do it.

Star Wars is a generational story, right now it takes place over almost 70 years, the nature of those is that characters are born and die and don't all have to interact. Its not the Avengers were every character is around and kicking at the same time. I'm guessing they undesrtand the nature of their property.

    A wise man once said:
Oh wait... That was you, less than twenty minutes ago, in the Finn thread.

Heed your own advice, man. Frankly, you don't have the full context yet. Speculating that it would be bad would in fact make no sense.

I'm not speculating on the story, I'm talking about the nature of star wars as a whole. We do have the context to call Star Wars a generational story - it takes place over almost 70 years of history - some elements of the story are completely seperate from each other and others are directly connected. Trying to connect the pieces that aren't connect because.......reasons is how you damage this kind of story.

Call it what you want, the elements would be connected by a story that you frankly do not know yet. I'd kindly direct you once again to your Finn thread quote.

Actually, it's an incredibly apt comparison, and I'm sorry you don't see (or more likely, refuse to acknowledge) it. But that's cool, it's about what I expected.

Lol - you literally took two different things and claimed they were one thing. Tha doesn't = apt comparison

Here I am talking about the nature of Star Wars. Your quote is about specific story elements.

Ahsoka having been Anakins Padawan could bring a lot to both Luke and Kylo.. She could teach them both who Anakin really was and who he became. She would be perfect character to pass to the future of who Anakin was before the fall. Bring her back ASAP.

You are such a troll. Just because we don’t agree with your point doesn’t mean we are stupid. Is that you Hillary?

It snot disagreeing - its claiming that something I said about 1 topic applies to a different topic.

Having Ahsoka around to teach Luke is in the ST is what kills/underminds the OT.

I just can't get over the "Skyguy" part. Anakin proved that he was indeed the chosen by staying calm while being called that repeatedly. Only the chosen one would have that much self control, I would have been tempted to force throw her into the next millennium....Be gone devil child! hahaha

Wow, I forgot about that "skyguy" thing, too. It's amazing that they managed to still get Ahsoka a big fanbase even after all that. In fact, I'm realizing that there was a time when I really hated the character, too.

edit: Anybody care to take a guess at who put that "trolling" rating on me, in a post that was in no way related to the discussion that he and I had previously had? ;)

It’s obviously @Canadian Ronin He does it now when he doesn’t agree with someone. I hope the admins are keeping an eye on him because that is abuse.

@Canadian Ronin , @Colonel_Ender and @cawatrooper ...stop tossing around trolling ratings. Either agree to disagree or move on. While you're doing that, stop addressing each other, and contradicting each other about who's more right or wrong, or who's theory sucks...whatever. Just stop because I (specifically) am tired of it.

    Thanks

Anyway, Ahsoka won't show up on the big screen, and if she does, I'll fall over. It seems that she was written out long ago (or that is the plan) as first we saw her as a main character in TCW only to walk into the sunset in the end.

After that, she became even more obscure in Rebels as the shadowy informant, which THEN the got "killed" by Vader, and I think that she still exists in even lesser form now that will fade away soon.

Now either LFL is letting us down easy by slowly phasing her out into oblivion, OR visa-versa, she'll show up living with Luke on Ahch-To and cause the show-goers to gasp in surprise at her return....which is never going to happen...because I just entertained the notion and...and if it does, I take full credit, but I just jinxed it for everyone...sorry! :)

Or, maybe she spent a great deal of time reflecting on the force the way that Obiwan did on Tatooine. While doing that maybe she came to understand that the things in motion would lead to the fall of the empire that she so desperately wanted. So in effect, her staying out of the fight wasn't her rejecting helping Luke, but was her giving Luke the space he needed (vs being a crutch he could lean on) to face Vader and help redeem him which brought down the emperor.

Not saying this is what will be revealed but I think it's a pretty sensible way to address the audiences concerns about what her presence would mean for the OT.
