Will porgs still be living on the Millennium Falcon in Episode IX?

I think (I hope) that the one that with Chewie in the cockpit on Crait will still be around. Otherwise, I think that Rey, R2 and Chewbacca got rid of Porgs from the Falcon.

 

It might come down to either how hungry Chewbacca gets or if he decides to become a vegetarian

Maybe he will befriend one or more or adopt them as his new family.

Han left such an empty unfillable spot, I can't help but think Chewbacca could do with some fresh companionship and consoling.

Perhaps by IX they will be true shipmates and help him staff the Falcon.

Imagine a few of them frantically working the turrets, then, at one point, letting out one of their now classic bird calls to proclaim "I got one!"

And then Chewie, looking back, and says in Shyriiwook (Wookiespeak), "Great, Porg. Don't get cocky!"

 

More importantly....where is our Porg Emoji???? Need!

I'm pretty sure the Porgs will be there in some fashion.
However, as far as the Falcon is concerned, I'm more curious about what kind of new radar dish there might be.

I don't buy that Chewie sudden access of veganism for one second. This is same guy who, in RotJ, couldn't resist the appeal of meat, even when it was an obvious trap ?

Wake up, people ! Chewie just got Force "mind-tricked" by these vicious birds !

This is the Phantom Menace all over again ! While our heroes were fighting the immediate threat, they allowed the REAL ennemy to rise to power. The only things these nefariouus birds lacked was interstellar travel, and now our heroes just provided it for them !

Why do you think Luke chose to never leave the island ? He knew these things were too dangerous to risk having one slip into his X-wing (which was parked underwater, where no porg couldd reach it, just in case...)

 

Probably if they eat after midnight they turn into some kind of little creepy creatures and kill Chewie.

 

Being into these creatures, hope least one or two. It be good to see these creatures again, well for me and others who love them.

 

Simply: I sure hope so! Love those cute little birds (and the only other kinds of birds I like are the animatronic ones in the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disney)!

 

They're a good source of fresh meat for Chewie. I really hope they don't double down on Chewie's veganism.

I'll take this too. That'd be hilarious - graphically showing Chewie eating a Porg for shock factor for kids...I'd probably be too amused by this.

 

possibly they were shown again in the most recent Poe Comic which is right after the last Jedi. so who knows

 

The ENTIRE Resistance is down to one ship.

There are no more X-Wings. No more Mon Calamari Cruisers. No more medical frigates. No more Y-Wings or A-Wings or slow bombers or Tantive IVs or U-Wings or rusty old Crait speeders or hammerheads or stolen Imperial shuttles.

There is only the Millennium Falcon.

Every single member of the Resistance who survived the chase and the battle of Crait escaped onto the Falcon. Maybe two dozen people, fighting for survival, pursued by the First Order fleet while their call to the Galaxy for help goes unanswered.

You think they have room for Porgs?

Yeah, me too. It's Mickey Mouse's story now, so there will be Porgs.

 

Im going to say no. With the time jump that is likely to happen, they can disappear without a mention. JJ will likely not bring them back because they really serve no purpose in the story unless they go back to Ach-to which I don’t see happening
