Will Rey fly an X-Wing?

    Rey's piloting skills are a big part of TFA and they come back at the end of TLJ. If there is, in fact, a year between TLJ and IX, she will have had time to settle into a role in the Resistance.

    Do you think we'll see Rey pilot an X-wing and wear the X-wing uniform, like Luke (or maybe more like Jaina from Legends)? Or will she be more of a Han Solo figure who flies the Falcon into battle?

    I know we've seen her in the Falcon, but it would be thematically satisfying to see her with an X-wing. Do you agree?

    I think during this gap of one year she will try to learn more about the force, she has the jedi books with her. Maybe during this period she will try to find a kyber cristal for a new saber or she will try to fix Anakin/Luke saber, we have these options, not sure what JJ will do regarding that.
    And we probably will see her once again piloting the Falcon with Chewie. A x-wing is posible also.

    PS. It would be a cool conection to Luke if we saw Rey in a x-wing, btw.

    An X-wing is certainly possible, but Rey is really connected to the Falcon at this point. I think there is a greater chance of seeing Finn piloting an X-wing along side Poe.

    I do think this is very possible, though I don't think she needs a year to learn how to fly an X-Wing.

    My point here was that, since there was no time between TFA and TLJ, she didn't have time to get her own X-wing and really join the resistance. With the time jump, she could do this.

    I don't think so. X-Wing wouldn't make sense to her character. Based on the previous 2 movies, she inherited the Falcon. Fin on the other hand will more than likely fly an X-Wing

    But really though? They've intentionally set Rey and Kylo as foils, and they've established both of them as great pilots--you don't think we'll see a pilot vs pilot match with Rey and Kylo? If not Interceptor vs X-Wing, at least Interceptor vs Falcon?

    I'm still "mad" that we didn't get a Poe vs Ren space duel like it was teased in Battlefront 2. The best pilot of the Resistance vs the best pilot of the First Order. One will go done in a flaming ship.

    Even though I think Ren would win, I would also accept a win by Poe as long as it's an awesome space battle.

    I want to see Rey in Snoke's escape shuttle. That would be cool! I'm looking forward to Lando taking over the Falcon and Chewie as his co-pilot.

    I don't even know why RJ integrate something like that. It doesn't even make sense. Where is the ship gone? Did Rey fly to Chewie, just to cahnge up ships. Why not using both them in the battle of Crait? I mean Snoke's ship should have amazing weaponary.
