SPECULATION Will Snoke dump Kylo Ren for a new apprentice?

Whether Snoke is Plagueis or not - I think the Rule of Two is out the window anyway. The Knights of Ren - with Kylo as their "Master" - seem to let us know that there are multiple dark side users now.

 

Considering he isn't A Sith, he could have Solo and Rey as apprentices and then they overthrow him and one of them kills the other .

 

I mentioned this in another thread, maybe we can have a scene in Ep VIII, like the ending of RotJ but not the part you were saying, I was thinking more of the "Now, fulfill your destiny and take your father's place at my side!" part, but in this case Rey kills Kylo and takes his place?

He might want Luke, that is why he has the First Order looking for him!

 

I think this is where Benecio Del Toro comes in. I wonder if he was the leader of the Knights of Ren until Snoke placed Kylo in that position.

 

It's possible that Snoke's main goal is turn an untainted/un-maimed Skywalker descendant (fully) to the dark side and try to do better than Darth Sidious was able to do. He may not care about himself in so far as he achieves his goal(s). Kylo Ren is a master in the Knights of Ren, is he the master of the KoR? Or just one among many? Are the KoR just a useful tool for Snoke to achieve his greater goals? There is so much that we don't know ATM, but I don't think that Kylo is a throw away for Snoke, I think he's more important to him than that.

 

I suspect episode 8 will mirror Empire Strikes Back only in that it will end in some cliffhangers. I am sure one of them will be Rey ending up as Snoke's prisoner with plans on making her his new apprentice. Would be interesting to have Snoke imprison both Rey and Luke and discarding Kylo Ren .Then between episode 8 and 9 Kylo ends up training Finn (Assuming Finn turns out to be trainable) so they can go rescue them.

 

In the novel,i think,Snoke speaks to Rey and tells her to kill Kylo...

 

My question isn't if Snoke gets another apprentice but if Snoke is actually the apprentice of someone else.
(really hopping for a Palpatine comeback to the final showdown against Luke Skywalker - that would be a proper ending for this 9 part epic)

 

I think Snoke is getting killed by the Kor.

Think about it. we've never seen a villain kill his master before.

 

Actually, that's just the dark side. It was a voice identified as amorphous, unidentifiable and raw. Pure vengeful emotion.

 

I think he will. He knew Han was right when he said snoke was using him. The sith won't trust a skywalker.

 

I don't think he'll throw him aside that easily. Ren is very strong with the force, albeit also very raw and unstable. He sees great ability in him so I don't see them introducing another character that would take his place. Unless it's some sort of ruse that's part of his training.
