Will we see a Force Ghost Anakin, Yoda or Obi-Wan in this trilogy?

No reports of Hayden , Liam or ewans casting for this so it can only mean ...from a certain point of view. ...either yoda or/and a cgi sir Alec .
I think force ghosts must come into the second trilogy as it is an important part of the first. Personally would have loved a make up weary Ewan rather than a cgi (nothing against sir Alec just the technology)

 

They don't need to announce the actor for a force ghost...just like how they didn't announce the casting of Dexter Jettster, Liam Neeson in ROTS, and the actor who plays Biggs, all of which weren't "big-deal" castings at the time of their respective films being released .

 

Ben said to Luke in ROJ "Yoda will always be with you", apparently excluding himself.

Therefore my candidate remains Yoda.

 

I thought one of the scoopers on the Cantina said something about a Yoda force ghost. I do not remember who they could have been full of it.

 

I would really like to see all three, but with all the OT-specific talk, I think if we're lucky we'll see Yoda. With Alec Guinness being long gone and the fear of anything PT related I don't think we'll see Ewan McGregor coming back or especially Hayden Christensen.

 

That's kind of my thoughts as well, I do think though that Hayden has a better chance of showing up than Ewan though. Hayden at least has some appearance as a Force Ghost in the films (however grudgingly one must admit so).

 

I'm pretty certain there's a direct connection to Obi-Wan as far as Rey is concerned, and I thinking we'll see that play out in ep.8. Force ghost or force flashback for Obi-Wan.

With them having Obi say "Rey, these are your first steps," which was a mixture of Alec's and Ewan's voices, I for sure think he will make an appearance. For Yoda, even though there is less "evidence," I definitely think we'll see him at some point. Both be hanging with Luke and Rey on the super secret (not anymore) jedi island. Anakin........keep him out. I don't see what his role would be as a force ghost; it would more than likely just bring up bad memories and make people angry, and the potential payoff doesn't seem very high to begin with. Kenobi and Yoda yes, Anakin no.

 

The only reason I think Anakin's ghost might make an appearance is some concept art of a half vader/half anakin ghost. Not sure if it is in The art of TFA or the visual dictionary, but it looks kinda bad ass!

 

Yep just saw that! I'm still in the "keep him out" camp, but I wouldn't freak out if he was set to make an appearance. I would just be worried. Even at his best, Hayden is just an ok actor and, again, I'm not sure what exactly he would bring to further the story. The idea or legend of Anakin/Vader sounds way more compelling than him actually showing up as a ghost.

 

I would like to see Yoda, one final meeting with Luke.

 

We might just hear the voices. I think the only force ghost I would want to see if its plausable would be the darkside of Anakin with Kylo Ren. That would be more interesting to see...

 

If we are only gonna get voices then I want a Luke/Qui-Gon Jinn conversation.
