    I really hope we will, we only got a glimpse of Alderaan in ep.3 & now it is blown away !

    I always imagined a bright beatiful world, were people wore a lot of white clothes.

    Since princess Leia is important in the story, hopefully we will see more of Alderaan then just a castle from afar.
    We will probably not see Leia herself, but there could be a lot of Alderaanians & some of the story taking place in buildings there, since Bail is very involved in the rebellion, it only makes sense to visit that planet. Bail needs to be there & take care of his kingdom [?] & it would be interesting to weave in Lor San Tekka & learn more about him.

    & I just got a new thought: WHAT IF R1 ENDS WITH THE DISTRUCTION OF THE PLANET & we get to see it from surface P.O.V ,seeing the deathstar rays coming together up in the sky :)

    me to :) I always imagined Bail with white (or light) clothes with a brown moustache & some kind of tarp over his shoulders, So Jimmie Smitts came pretty close, this picture is only some small details away from what i imagined :D

    I have actually never spotted that "balcony" in any of the PT movies, so i don't know were it is from (so now i have to watch through all 3 find out) :)

    It's a deleted scene from TPM. The actor Adrian Dunbar was supposed to be playing Bail Organa, then they changed his name to Bail Antilles and finally they cut the scene. He was supposed to be seconding the motion to impeach Valorum.

    I hope so we could even see r2d2 being loaded on to the ship & then following the ship until it is intercepted by Vader. I am alos hopefull that some of the planning could have been carried out on Alderaan & I defenatly would like to see more of Bail Organa

    I'm not sure if we'll actually see Alderaan in Rogue One, but if Jimmy Smits reprised his role as Bail Organa (which I hope he does), I'm certain we'll at least hear him say, at the end of the film, that he's going back to Alderaan.

    they could even cut to ObiWan saying that after we get to see them crying out in terror, that would be a very emotional scene, since we have not seen it yet

    we already know that r2 is very independent, it would be cool to see him making all the critical decisions that lead up to the beginning of ANH :) & Bail Organa is yet to be explored as a character, we know how he looks like, now we want to see him in action :)

    you mean the alderaanian delegation in the senate "balcony"? apparently it is in all the 3 prequels (according to wookieepedia) i have never spotted it myself, but i really like the look of them, it really feels genuine "alderaan" even if we now almost nothing about the planet :D here is another pic.

    Alderaan is definitely what you see in the Rogue One teaser (which has been taken down now).

    I think it is a certainty that it appears in the film. Which I'm looking forward to as it looks beautiful.

    Why is that "definitely" Alderaan? It's just a moon with an oversized Death Star in the background.

    Unfortunately the Ralph McQuarrie artwork from The Illustrated Star Wars Universe had been adopted for Lothal in Rebels, but the one above it is one I have never seen before. Can you please tell us where this one is from?
