    After watching some reviews of TFA, one reviewer posed an interesting question, will we see Ben and Luke interact with each other in Episode VIII? I hope we do, whether it be expositional dialogue, lightsaber combat, or what not. To me it makes sense inevitably that we will get a Luke and Kylo Ren interaction either in this movie or the next, I think we will get a small interaction in Episode VIII, what do you guys think?

    At this point I'm okay seeing Luke interact with Jar Jar Binks. I miss Luke that much.

    At this point is hard to tell if they interact in VIII or later.
    I have the weird feeling that Luke will not leave the Island. (new Yoda and Dagobah)

    I can see a scene where Ben is talking to Vader's mask, but he suddenly hears a voice thinking its Vader, but then Luke says something like, "No...this is your old master," and Ben calls him an "old man" and a "fool ," mirroring Vader and Obi-Wan's conversation in ANH . Yo

    At this rate I'm willing to bet that Luke and Kylo have an underwhelming lightsaber fight followed by Luke becoming one with the force while rey watches on and yells no. Followed by Rey hearing Luke tell her that she needs to shut off her targeting computers before torpedoing Starkiller II in her fancy new x-wing later in the film.

    Either that or Luke is essentially yoda and dies of natural causes while rey confused yells but your only in your 60s!

    I want to see Luke and Rey versus a fully trained Kylo Ren, similar to Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul, that fight was one of the few high points of the PT, sadly no Ray Park so I won't hold my breath for any fight to be that good. Seems to me a Kylo/Luke showdown will happen sooner rather than later, and we will get Luke vs. Snoke in episode 9

    I think that Luke, Rey, Chewie, and R2 will all stay on the island through the movie and the last shot of VIII will be the Falcon going to the new Resistance base

    I hope we get to see Luke interact with Kylo, Snoke, Leia..... i hope its not a case of luke stays in hiding like Yoda did. And really hope they don't kill him off in 8 their is so much you can do with luke, would be a waste to see him killed of.

    Luke has to leave the island. I can take him and Han not having a reunion, but no reunion with Leia as well? I'd like to see Rey vs. fully trained Kylo and Luke vs. Snoke - the old and new generation kicking ass and bringing balance to the Force.

    Luke vs. Kylo? No matter how trained Kylo gets, even old Luke would wipe the floor with him.

    Episode 9 will end with Luke, Rey, Leia, Finn and Ben standing shoulder to shoulder against Snoke. Luke, fighting back tears, yells "The Light and Dark side of the Force are united and can never be defeated." Suddenly Chewie rushes Ben and rips both his arms off.

    With filming restrictions as they are at Skellige, not to mention the weather. I doubt they will be on the island after the first act.

    And obviously Luke will kick some ass. I'm imagining he thrashes the KoR 1 on 7 while Rey is somewhere looking on helplessly. But instead of Lyke becoming one with the force he will defeat all of the Knights and save his heroic death for episode 9
