Will you cry in the movie theater while watching Star Wars 7.

The only time I've come close is when Ewan McGregor was remonstrating with Hayden Christensen at the end of ROTS, while the latter was doing his best impression of chargrilled chicken

And maybe when the crawl starts and JW music starts playing.
Probably won't cry though...

But who knows..

 

I get teary watching the trailers. I'm sure I'll swell up a bit watching the whole thing. I feel so moved, so connected to this its blowing my mind. I love Star Wars but my reactions to this film are still surprising me.

 

I remember discussing this with someone a while ago that "even though i love star wars so much I still wouldn't cry." Mostly because no movie has ever made me even remotely close to crying. But I remember when the third real trailer dropped a couple weeks ago my heart was pumping, and I legitimately had the chills. I was so nervous, excited, scared, happy etc my face actually flushed a little bit and my eyes watered, there were so many positive and negative emotions running through me that I didn't think was possible. It made me think this is what the older folks felt like during the premier of phantom menace. So now, anything is possible during the movie, and... I may cry.

Are you kidding I weep at the drop of a hat. If Chewie dies, I'll be a basket-case of tears and snot right there in the theater, people will be yelling WILL YOU PLEASE STOP SOBBING AND CHOKING! Not a pretty sight.The very day I first heard the Chewie dies rumor I started thinking "can I handle this?" because, I don't know.

I think so, I got emotional when watching the trailer.

 

I can see myself getting choked up or tearing up over a particularly awesome music cue should there be one(s).

 

I cried like a freaking kid on the Monday Night Football Trailer, was a combination of the beauty of the trailer, the anticipation of it, and the nostalgia, i bet if the movie is semi-good i will try not to, but the tears will fall

 

I'll cry like Robert DeNiro watching a Merrill Lynch commercial:

I will only cry if Luke ends up being in the film as a 2 second voiceless cameo and never interacts with Han and Leia (especially if Han dies and the two never interact).

Why does Luke need to see Han before his death? They are not inseparable. They fought alongside one another and developed a good friendship, but this is 30 years later. People go their separate ways. Especially if one is in hiding and the other goes back to smuggling.

 

I will be CRYING because it's SO GOOD!!!

I am exactly the opposite! I don't cry in real life - I barely shed a tear when my first child was born - but I'll cry every time the Iron Giant is on. Even mediocre movies can make me cry!

So if the movie is good, I'll probably cry.

If the movie is bad, I'll definitely cry.
