Woody Harrelson Reveals His Characters Name to be Beckett in the Han Solo Film!

    Woody Harrelson was at The Tonight's Show, promoting his latest movie Wilson. During the conversation, host Jimmy Fallon asked the actor if he can reveal anything about his role in the Han Solo spin off movie. Surprisingly Harrelson revealed his character's name, which was a point of debate a few weeks ago, when he misheard a question and people assumed he confirmed something he never did.







    Back in January in another interview, Harrelson was asked if he will be playing the Legends character Garris Shrike in the Han Solo film. Mishearing the question Harrelson said 'yes', but it was obviously not about that particular character. Probably after this confusion, Harrelson got a permission to reveal his character's real name in upcoming interviews, and he just did.

    A quick search on Wookieepedia shows that there are no major characters with such name in the galaxy far, far away, so Harrelson is definitely playing a new character.

    Growing up Cheers was one of my favorite shows so I hope they put Woody in some type of mask or make-up because he could be as distracting as Samuel L. Jackson from the prequels. I know personally when I see him I'll be pulled out the film, for me that is... only a few good actors can make you forget that its them on the screen cuz they are tht good but... Especially In the hunger games I saw Woody heheh...

    I'm remembered about a story I heard about Spencer Tracy and Laurence Olivier. Olivier used heavy make-up in Richard III, whereas after Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Specner Tracy essentially just played 'Spencer Tracy' for the rest of his career. They were discussing the use of heavy make-up versus no make-up to which Tracy finally asked Olivier, "Who do you thin they (the audience) are going to think you are?"

    I don't think any make-up or prosthetics are going to help the whole Woody Harrelson casting.

    Speaking of Cheers ... I wish they would have brought John Ratzenberger back for the sequel trilogy for a Bren Derlin cameo. He was on Cheers and does voices in all the Pixar films.
