Best scene in entire saga - fricking SPACE IRON! That was so silly, it took me completely off guard. All the the people at the theatre completely lost it, an I laughed so hard, both times I saw it.
But seriously, I can't pick up one scene, there were too many.

Worst: That Leia scene, you know which ;) But it didn't bother me that much the second time, was even kinda okey.

I think I am old and wiser enough to understand thanks. I doubt very much those who saw the very first star film as a kid at the cinema and grown up with Star Wars could actually like TLJ as a 'Star Wars' film. Maybe some do ???

I admit it was a good stand alone sci fi film. I accept that. As a Star wars film it was poorly written junk. Im thinking Mark Hamill would agree.

My 8 year who probably knows Star Wars better than anyone else in the world, and he feels like he was robbed. When an 8 year old tells you all the holes and continuity problems you know it was a bad film.

As a dad I have to invest in all the Star Wars sh*t, merchandising, FX (expensive) lightsabers etc. I am not investing anymore. Star Wars died with TLJ.

By far the worst scene is the Batman v Superman Leia scene! Seriously?

The runner up has to be some completely dumb scenes with Luke fishing and milking, who needs that?

And although the mirror scene was interesting, it stands there proud with the bronze medal.

The best scenes for me are the Yoda scene, the "Resist it Rey" scene, the Praetorian guards fight and Luke's march against the entire FO.

For me best scene was entirety of Throne room scene, or scenes? I'm counting all of it, from Snoke torturing Rey, to Kylo killing him, to praetorian guard fight, to Kylo pleading with Rey, to Anakin's sabre being torn in half by two opposite pulls.

It was great for all the characters in terms of growth and changing character relationships, and had best action part in film. Kylo and Rey fight well together.

Worst scene was Canto f*cking Bight. All of it.

Scenery and characters generic, looked like Jupiter ascending rejects. Falthiers and boring "be sorry for us" child actors. The prison and DJ's weird voice.

I did like Rose and Finn's dynamic by the end. But that was it.

Worst - Leia as Mary Poppins, the stupid pop culture jokes ie phone call, Luke tossing sabre, BB8 in an ATST, Rey as Mary Sue, Luke going to kill Kylo in flashback.
Best - Yoda with Luke, Rey and Kylo in the throne room, Luke and Kylo at the end.

I didn't actually mind Snoke dying or the way he did, just felt like it should have been in the last of the series.

I have a problem with this scene. The FO pummeled Luke with 40 odd missiles and managed not to create a crater in the ground. How does that work exactly ?

It was a good job really I suppose, because their door opening machine thingy would have never of been able to get to the door with a huge crater in the way and then they would have been stuck.

So that scene fails on two counts.

I'm not trolling BTW. I am just saying there has to be a certain realism to Sci Fi films which is why this film falls apart compared to the other Star Wars films.

It's funny how everyone chooses to apply realism / logics / physics on different aspects of Star Wars movies :D

For example - it didn't even cross my mind with the crater and doesn't bother me even now, but I am furious that Rey could swim :D

It's pretty much about selective suspension of desbelief and whether you manage to apply it in way to be able to enjoy the film.

I thought the best scene was Rey and Ben fighting as one vs. the Praetorian Guards. Honorable mention goes to Holdo taking out Snoke's Supremacy. There was a collective awed gasp in my theater during that visual (and acoustic) effect.

    Still thinking about the worst.

Worst scene: Luke using his weird fishing technique. I get it you're a Jedi. But there's got to be a more efficient way.

Best scene: Holdo crashing the Raddus into the Supremacy. One of the few things I actually liked about "Attack of the Clones" were the Seismic blast bombs where a brief moment of complete silence is followed by terrifying destruction. This scene had a similar feel to it but it was just so much more epic. A truly beautifully crafted special effect and a prime example of why good Sound Editing is freaking awesome.

I know people think Spaceman Mary Poppins Leia is a bad scene. But I was laughing at that, it entertained me.

I've seen bad films, and the worst films aren't "so bad it's good" ones but instead just boring. Not "fall asleep" boring, but "yawn and watch the wall because it's more entertaining" boring. Canto Bight was like that.

Throne room scenes, everything Luke and Rey, Leia even the floating back to the ship. It really isn't bad as some make it out to be. If she had shot at light speed back then it would've been overkill and silly. Crait scenes were awesome and tense. Rey manning the gunner. Adam and Rey scenes. Poe and Leia together.

At first I didn't like Holdo but she grew on me. Poe doing his thing and blowing up the Dreadnaught.(that was the ship right?) Space senes were crazy. Rian did his homework.

I liked some of Canto Bight and some I didn't. It's what felt different. Maybe it will grow on me.

I missed the Rey swimming thing. Maybe she used the force ? Or a float ? LOL. Maybe she practiced in the water hole thing they had in TFA on Jakku ? But then again that hippo monster thing would have eaten her.

What about the dice ? Luke projects himself to another planet but managed to carry some dice with him. How does that work then ?

Oooh Ryan.. back to Film school for you methinks.

OK I am being all negative about this film.

So, a classy moment. The picture of Lukes X wing under the water . That was quite cool TBF. Did you spot that ?

SHAME HE DID NOT FLY IT BACK AND KICK SOMEONES ARSË WITH IT. THAT IS WHAT WE WANTED TO SEE !!!! YOU FLIPPIN DISNEY MORONS.

hahah i don't know if anyone could call THAT swimming. I mean she didn't sink like a brick, but humans tend not to do that.

And those dice aren't real. After Kylo storms the base he picks it up and it disappears in his hands. Most like the real dice are still on the island or the falcon.
    We watch the same movie?

I agree i did want to see Luke come back and kick some first order ass, ill always be disappointed we didn't get to see him in battle one more time, but it is what it is and it fits his arch and story in the film.

    Best: The throne room fight

Worst: Poe taking on the dreadnought basically on his own

    Ok....that makes complete sense ???

How can you pick up something that was not there ? Luke was not tangible and nor where the dice.

    Are you Rian Johnson ?

Worst: Leia in Space, most every scene with Finn or Poe, and everything with Holdo in it. What a lot of lame, pointless characters.

Best: Luke and Rey, Rey and Kylo, and the Throne Room fight.

Loved the scene with BB8 impresonating a mouse droid, laughed out loud both times in the cinema now.

Luke being trolled by Yoda just like in ESB

Chewie getting angry with Luke. Chewie trying to eat a roasted Porg and being made to feel guilty.

The Mirror scene with Rey was great

The whole Snokes throne room scene. Ren all alone after the resistance have escaped Crait while Hux looks pitifully at him.

Luke and Ren's confrontation on Crait

    Disliked

Flying Leia, that could have been done less like Superman

Didn't like the scene of BB8 controlling a AT-ST with Finn and Rose riding on top of it. Looked way too silly.

Disliked they didn't show Rey and Chewie meeting up again after Hux has explained she took Snokes shuttle, suddenly she's on the Falcon again out the blue.

    Oh there are so many:

    Worst:
    1 - BB-8 breaking havoc with AT-ST
2 - The Caretaker cleaning up Rey's mess
3 - Snoke parts on the floor

Best (There are a lot of memorable scenes):
1 - Last scene with the boy on Canto Bight (IMO, that scene cleverly solves Carrie Fisher's passing and opens an opportunity to jump in time for 9... sets up the future of the Rebellion and Jedi)
2 - The whole Poe - Hux scene, sooo funny
    3 - Holdo sacrificing herself
    4 - Luke vs Kylo
5 - Luke, the sun, and becoming one with the Force

Best : The space bullet through the supremacy ( even if we can ask why they didn't use it against the death star ), some bombers scene.

Worst : Leia ... really. Portraying Luke as a total psycho.
