    I think it'd undermine the entire idea of Kenobi being in exile and watching over Luke on a dangerous and hostile world, it just wouldn't make much sense for him to leave, but knowing the current Lucasfilm I wouldn't be surprised if Kenobi visits about 10 different planets and completely forgets about his mission, lol.

    But what do I know, maybe it could done in a way that doesn't mess everything up, but I doubt it.

    I think that's all it boils down to. It will not bother me at all if he leaves the planet on some urgent mission, but I rather he stays and continues his mission to safeguarding Luke. There are great stories to be told on Tatooine.

    Hahahaha. I feel the series will definitely go off planet. But because it may it doesn't necessarily mean Obi-Wan himself will.

    I don't know. I sort of think that little discourse in the first place was so that there doesn't have to be an extra episode between III and IV explaining where Obi-Wan learned to come back as a ghost, not a set-up for one. It's telling us so we don't need to see it.

    Indeed. I also fully expect a light saber duel between Obi wan and Vader. Which really shouldn't happen. But as you said, knowing the current state of LFL, I'd be shocked if they DIDN'T do it.
