Is it okay if I clock out, go home and rethink my life instead? I just got off of work.

Absolutely. Planets, tech, politics, cameos; any prequel elements are welcome.

Yes. The one thing I really liked about the prequels was how "colorful" the SW world was. Unusual designs, elaborate costumes, everything looked truly alien even if somehow familiar. There was so much to see....too much occasionally, but you get my point. So many people put so much work into those movies, and it was obvious. Too bad so much of it was CGI....

I would actually love to see/hear that repurposed, or reworked but still recognizable. What an amazing track.

The only PT planet I'm really interested in seeing in the ST is Coruscant -- it felt a little cartoony in the PT, not bad but it reminded me of The Fifth Element. I'd like to see Johnson's take on an overcrowded metropolis planet. Otherwise, my preference is to see all new planets -- I think what people liked about the PT planets is that they were new and different; likewise, rather than revisit them, I'd like to see the ST, like the PT, take us to new and different places.

I'm totally fine seeing a retooled PT droid or two, even the waitress from Dexter's diner that is like a carbon copy of Joan Rivers in Spaceballs.

The lesser the new movies remind me of the awful abonimations named the prequels, the better.

A trip to Coruscant would be ok though.

Edit: And Snoke = Darth Plageuis would be cool. I'm serious.

For me it's a love/hate-relationship, but I prefer "hating" on jokingly bad pieces of movie making like the PT, rather than people, women, races, different cultures and so on, which is so common these days in real life. Now back to topic please. I simply voiced a not so very important opinion, I didn't mean to offend you.

Yeah. Let's say we have a scene in Hux's office. He could have a propaganda poster of Palpatine on the wall with Clones.

And what about the Trillions of B1 droids? They were all melted down? I'm sure many were reprogrammed.

I'd love to see Coruscant again. The look and feel of it was a highlight of the PT, for me. It was nice seeing it in Rogue One, but if you didn't know that's what it was, you'd miss it.

Yes! The prequels made it feel like this was a galaxy filled with a multitude of cultures, technologies, and ways of doing things. I really hope the new movies and the new Expanded Universe start to experiment more. As someone who grew up with the prequels and Legends material, the new canon seems a bit... same-y right now.

I'd love to see Coruscant again in the future since the of Hosnian Prime and all. I know it's been years since the prequel time line but a mention would be nice since nothing can't be referenced in the OT.

Agreed. I love that we got to see more of the galaxy in the prequels. That's been my biggest issue when trying to watch the movies in numerical order. You go from all these planets to basically isolation.
