So if you could decide a name for Yoda's species right now that would become official canon, what would you name it. I know you might need time to think about this and I am expecting some clouded ratings. Never the less, what is Yoda's Species name? Also you guys are probably gonna say stuff like "It is very difficult to come up with a species name that is so important to the franchise with just a bit if thinking." Or something like that.

I was going to say Whill, but George Lucas specifically stated that Yoda's species is not a Whill. My suggestions are knarzof, afrkronz (anagrams of Frank Oz), or onberrof, nefrebor, beneforr, rusatt, srutta, traust, or tustra (anagrams of Freeborn, Stuart, Yoda's designer).

This is a pointless thread with no answer. No name for the species or its homeworld exists. George Lucas has said he prefers it that way too, to keep the character and his origins a mystery.

Not everything has to have an answer. Its fun to theorise and speculate. Thats the point of the mystery of Yoda's unknown origins.

It's what you would decide to name the species. Not what George Lucas said one time.
