SPECULATION Your Favorite PT Scene

So many... seeing a large group of Jedi in the Geonosian arena(OB1 spoke of TCW and we are at it's cusp), Kit Fisto pausing to smile in the arena... haha, Mace Windu decapitating Jango Fett and finally Boba holding his father's head.

 

The arena scene and the first battle of the Clone War.

 

Obi Wan vs Jango on Kamino, nice to see a non force user push a Jedi to their limits. I liked that battle even more than the maul fight. Kinda sad that Windu killed Jango easily, I think that battle deserved more scenes. I'd rather have watched Windu vs jango than stupid 3-po battle droid stuff, and I love 3-PO he just doesn't need action scenes

 

For me it's a toss up between two sequences in Episode 3: either the opening shot that follows the two starfighters through the Battle of Coruscant, or the Order 66 montage.

Honorary mentions to the Episode 2 arena fight before the Jedi arrive, the introduction to General Grievous, and then the 2 scenes in Episode 3 where Anakin and Palpatine converse; the one in the Opera house, and then the one where Palpatine reveals himself in his office.

I also realize how "the scene where Palpatine reveals himself to Anakin" may sound bad out of context .

 

Obi-Wan and Jango Fett's initial meeting on Kamino, prior to the fight. It might have the most enjoyable fun tension of the PT.

It's probably the best acting in the entire PT until "You were my brother, Anakin!"

 

Battle of Coruscant

 

I go back and forth between Obiwan looking out at the Clones on Kamino not realizing he is witnessing the birth of the Empire. Or in ROTS where Anakin and Padme stare across Coruscant at each other as Mace and Co go to arrest Palpatine with that great John Williams music in the background.

In no order, these were my favorite scenes:

- Duels of Fate (Obi Wan & Qui Gon vs Maul)
- Anakin slaughters the Sand people
- "Hundreds of Senators are now under the influence of a dark lord called Darth Sidious" (Count Dooku tells Obi Wan the truth)
- "The shroud of the Dark side has fallen, begun the Clone War has" (Attack of the Clones Ending scene)
- "Take a seat young Skywalker" (Anakin being put on the Council)
- "The Dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural (Palpatine/Anakin Opera scene)
- "Only through me can you achieve a power greater than any Jedi" (Palpatine reveals himself to Anakin)
- "I am the Senate" (Windu confronts Sidious)
- "Once more the sith will rule the galaxy..." (Sidious introduces Vader)
- Anakin raids the Jedi Temple
- Order 66
- "I have waited a long time for this moment my little green friend" (Sidious encounter with Yoda)
- Anakin vs Obi Wan on Mustafar

 

Favorite scene would be in Revenge of the Sith, when Anakin talks to Obi-Wan just before the duel on Mustafar

In order of the episodes:
-Darth Maul, Qui Gon, Obi Wan dual (Obviously)
-Obi Wan going to Kamino
-Obi Wan battling Jango on Kamino
-Entire coliseum scene with all of the Jedi... Always loved that scene to death
-Anakin, Obi Wan, & Yoda vs Dooku

Revenge of the sith it gets harder to pick scenes, as I love that entire movie
-Anakin, Obiwan vs Dooku, and showing how Anakin really cares about Obi Wan like a father
-Obi Wan vs Grevous
-Legend of Darth Plagueis
-Anakin's conflicting thoughts to save padme
-Order 66
-Anakin vs Obi Wan (Always get emotional with 'You were my brother Anakin! I loved you!' and you see Anakin's sadness and regret right before he catches on fire)

 

The final part of DUEL OF FATES. It's so intense. Obi-Wan watching as Maul kills his master, and then the eventual slaying of Maul.

and my 2nd favorite scene would be Padme and Anakin's wedding at the end of Ep 2. So beautiful

 

While Episode 2 is - in my opinion - the worst PT-film, he has my favourite PT-scene in it: the scene, when Padmé and Anakin kiss and get into the arena. I love "Across the stars" and that is the scene with the best performance of it.

 

The Podrace/Anakin's Departure sequence. I absolutely love the entire sequence that began with Anakin, Padme, Qui-Gon and the others arriving at the arena and ended with Qui-Gon introducing Anakin to Obi-Wan.

 

My favorite is this Scene:

Hmm, interesting choice. I wonder Why that's your Favorite.

 

It's my favorite, because it's one of the very few dialogue scenes in the prequels that isn't hard to get through. It establishes a mythos within Star Wars, and Ian Mcdiarmid's performance as Palpatine is unrivaled in this scene. The gravity with which he delivers the lines is incredible.
