    Rocky will always be the best sports movie of all time.
    Miracle is a great movie.
    I really enjoyed Moneyball starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill.
    One more: Trouble with the Curve. Anything by Clint Eastwood is always a good movie.

    OK folks....here goes on Sports Movies:

    1. Hoosiers - Gene Hackman is superb

    2. Miracle - Kurt Russell's finest performance ever, he absolutely nails Herb Brooks. The training scene on the ice "who do you play for" is incredible and a great motivating video on teamwork (used it in a couple classes I have taught)

    3. The Natural - Really captures early American Baseball, the look, feel, sounds, etc.

    4. Invincible - Mark Wahlberg as Vince Papale on the Eagles in the early 70s....love the look of Veterans Stadium (went there many times before it was torn down)

    5. Rocky - The original. So realistic you can almost smell downtown Philly....great cinematography. Stallone at his best.

    My top 2 would be

    Rush if Howard can make that good a race move it gives me hope that SOLO will at least have some decent Speeder action in it.

    Any Given Sunday. Was my favourite until Rush just such a great movie & a pretty good cast as well.

    Bloodsport. It's an awful movie, I wouldn't waste time watching it today, but I used to love it when I was little. I saw it... probably 7 times. Every once in a blue moon I come across it on tv and I'm like... How did I watch this cringe fest? But it's too late now to pretend it didn't happen lol
