    I want to like EPIX at least as much as I liked The Last Jedi. If JJ manages to make me like it more, he will become legend in my eyes.

    I want Lucasfilm to stay the course, and be persistent. Some things need changed, yes, and some already have been. But I don't think any wholesale changes should be considered, even with another potential mis-step. Work out the tweaks along the way, but just keep going.

    Part of that is my wish for The Mandalorian to rise above and beyond the hype, and surprise anyone who is currently having doubts. I'm very excited for this show, but also nervous because I feel a lot hinges on the first Star Wars live-action TV series receiving a warm welcome. If it doesn't, I don't want it to potentially affect future projects. Maybe too much was made of the "Lucasfilm shelving some projects in light of Solo flop" but I really don't want to see another instance of that. Again... stay the course!

    Assuming a date with Daisy Ridley is off the table?

    I want Kylo Ren to live and not be redeemed.
    Set up a future story for him. I know the Skywalker saga is "ending" but that doesn't inherently mean these characters are done.

    Lego finally releases a model of a Mon Calamari ship. I get it, Star Destroyers are cool, but Rebels need some love with their capital ships too! Preferably the Raddus, because I NEED a TLJ Leia figurine.

    I really want some proper variety in the Nu-Canon supplementary materials as far as eras go. So many books and comics being published these days are set during the OT Era and revolving around the OT Trio. It's gotten to the point where I've seen enough OT iconography like X-Wings, TIE Fighters, Stormtroopers, and the "used future" aesthetic to projectile vomit like Linda Blair in The Exorcist. I'm not saying the solution is to shift focus to the Prequel Era or The Clone Wars (although, given the Nu-Canon offerings in that era, it wouldn't be a bad start), but would it kill them to start expanding the world a little bit? Try and make these comics and novels stand on their own by having ships, planets, factions or characters that you can't read or see anywhere else.

    It's 2019, and the sole prolific comic-exclusive character in the Nu-Canon is Doctor Aphra, with the novel equivalent being the personality-devoid caricatures of Chuck Wendig's Aftermath books. Part of the reason people harbor nostalgia for EU icons like Grand Admiral Thrawn, Bastilla Shawn and Mara Jade was because they were exclusive to books or comics, and a substantial offering to fans dedicated enough to pursue the expanded material.

    This comes from a place of genuine want and not one of spite or bashing. This is something I really think the folks in the Story Group are capable of overseeing, and with movie material winding down after Episode 9, I hope they take the opportunity to make the universe a little bigger by populating the supplementary media with memorable characters and engaging concepts...ones that aren't just recycled from the films.

    We differ a lot on the new canon but this is something I definitely agree with you on. It does look like they’re starting to head towards that direction with the novels, at least getting into more of the prequel era even if it’s still gonna be centered around characters we’re already familiar with, (but I’m not gonna complain about that)

    Well, there is a Padme book set between 1 and 2. I could be wrong, but this is the first time (including eu) that she is getting her own book. There is a book with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan set before 1. The different era's... they're coming just be patient.
