For this thread I wanted to do two things:

#1.Show you my own (unique) custom made Star Wars Ship.(I will give you details about it later)

    DSC01374 (2).JPG

#2. I encourage all comers to share their designs for there own Star wars Ships. Can be Legos, Drawings, Paintings any artwork you made of your own personal Star Wars Ship.(One you would fly in that Galaxy far far away) And also name your ship, and tell us what it can do. Have fun all.

My ship above is a Rebel Alliance Gunship 1(aka RAG-01). This ship is in between the size of an X-Wing(x-wing) and The Millennium Falcon,(falcon) (probably slightly larger than The Ghost) Put into service 2 years after the battle of Endor, The RAG-01 is all about firepower. On the top of the ship are two Turret Droids protecting the ships top, sides and rear(which are it's most venerable parts) But if it charges head on at any Imperial target Look out Empire! Whether a squadron of TIE's or a Star Destroyer, few ships could stand against the barrage of blaster fire that followed. It's front weapons are besides the 2 Turret Droids )
1 Blaster "Machine Gun" (works like the weapon the clone name Heavy used in TCW), located under the nose of the ship.
2 blasters that work like the ones on the X-Wings
2 dual way(pointing forward and behind the Ship) disruptor torpedo launchers

Now I know it may look a bit bulky, But I have a secret that I will tell you scum soon about how the ship can fool the Empire. Lastly, I will share now is the name of the ship. It is called the Renegade I

Here is another picture of the Renegade I

Very cool. I like how you made up a whole history to it? Have you ever written fan fiction?

Do you notice that the Renegade I looks different than the other pictures?
    DSC01377 (2).JPG
That's because the lower engines can change position making the RAG-01 easier to maneuver. the lower engines can also be detached either to make the ship look smaller( confuses Imperial scanners) or can be use as escort vessels to aid the ship in heavy battle.

One thing I forgot to add about my ship is that it needs no landing gears. the lower engines serve that purpose as well. How do the crew get out of the ship you wonder? underneath the ship is a five person max elevator that lowers the crew to the ground.

That's an awesome ship, Sabalan. I could easily see this incorporated in Star Wars. Like the name as well.

You'll have to post a thread to your fanfiction when it's finished.

Nice design, you're very creative. (jawa)

Like I said earlier, I like your ship it reminds me a bit of the Gunstar 1 fighter from the movie '' The Last Starfighter " It had this cool last resort weapon system called the '' the Death blossom " You should check it out on youtube when you get the change.

I wanted to show My fellow scum some Lego spaceships I build from scratch (not from a single kit or instructions) If you have unique Lego spacecraft that you built, show them here.

    Nice work!

I've got a Republic Gunship that I converted into a hypothetical bomber version with a tractor type ground support vehicle to load ordinance. It's stored away but I'll do some digging and take some pics when I find it.

I've been seeing Lego pieces in my sleep as I recently assembled the Tantive IV model for a friend who loves the big Lego ships, but has no desire to build the stuff himself.

As an aside, that project motivated me to build a couple of models for myself. They're not Star Wars, but they were fun regardless. They are modified versions of the LegoTechnic Mercedes-Benz Unimog U-400, and Volvo L350F Loader. Parts count after my mods round out to around 3600 parts for each model. The functional features you can employ in these latest Technic models is really astounding.

    Here's a pic-

The official Lego site does indeed have instructions you can download in PDF form.

Also, there's a site called Lego MOC (My Original Creation) that has older instructions as well as pics and instructions for some amazing custom models-

Here's one of the most impressive custom LEGO ships I've ever seen. It was built by a fellow at the Eurobricks Forum named Jerac.

It's a model of Grand Admiral Thrawn's Star Destroyer The Chimaera. At over 6.5 feet long, weighing in at 110 lbs, and with a parts
count that exceeds 40,000, the thing is an absolute monster, not to mention a really amazing work of art-

    lego-chimaera (4).jpg

    Just wow!
More pics and build details here-
