    I'd like a cameo of Luke or Leia, or possibly an appearance by Chewbacca ('cause he's very easy to do and a great character through which to tangentally connect Mando with Heroes of the Rebellion).

    That would be the PERFECT cameo. They already have Joonas on deck. And it totally makes sense to see Chewie in this sort of underworld context. I love the idea of encountering Chewie without Han. Maybe it's the early days when Ben is a baby and Chewie's going solo for a bit? No pun intended?

    SCENE: SPACE, ABOARD THE RAZOR CREST, COCKPIT
    Mando    : Securing The Child. "That was a close call, little one".
    Chewbacca: Roars an encouragment.
    Mando to Chewbacca: "A child sure changes one's perspective on things."
    Chewbacca: Grunts an agreement, then produces from his satchell a holo-locket. Opening it, two holograms pops up; one of his wife Mallatobuck and their son, Lumpawaroo [if they are still Canon], and the other hologram showing Leia & Han with little Ben. Gazing lovingly at his families, the huge Wookiee smiles and coos happily.

    This doesn't seem too wild to me at all. Not sure I buy all the "Sasha Banks is Sabine" theories, but Mando is looking for Mandos, and Clan Wren has a history with the Darksaber. It wouldn't be a stretch.

    I hope so. I want for my boy Cal to get a happy ending. I can’t bear to think of how BD-1 would react if he died. :(

    Hopefully we’ll see him again in Solo 2 as well. ;)

    See, I personally think that Sabine will make an appearance in Mando Season 2 but someone got the Sasha Banks and Sabine rumors conflated. I think Sasha as Sabine was a fancasting at some point, so when someone heard that SB would be in the show and that Sabine would make an appearance, they assumed that they were one and the same.

    Anyway, besides the characters who have been credibly rumored, there are a few characters I’d like to see:
    • Hondo Ohnaka
      • I just think that he would just work so well in this show.
    • Fenn Rau
      • I legit thought of this earlier today. It’d be awesome to see Rau mentor Din in a similar way as to how he mentored Sabine. Maybe he can tell him about the history of the darksaber?
    • Doctor Aphra
      • Why not? It’d be interesting to see her and Mando work together. This could even be a backdoor pilot to her own show.
    • Some of the ESB bounter hunters
      • Cool fan service and they’d work in this show as well.
    • Hera Syndulla
      • Just a small appearance like a hologram of her, similar to Squadrons. It would be especially fitting if all of these other Rebels characters are showing up.
    • And yes, Luke Skywalker
      • Luke’s one of my favorite characters so of course I want to see more of him, especially in the early years following ROTJ. I just love the mock-ups of him interacting with Mando and/or The Child too much for something like them not to come into fruition.

    Guys, I've figured out what my *actual* wildest dream cameo is.

    Imagine if Force Ghost Yoda meets Baby Yoda?

    Like, how freaking awesome would that be?

    I could imagine they're on some planet and Baby Yoda wanders off by himself into this ancient temple. Yoda appears to him and looks at him with that classic "Hmm."
