Disneyland Vacation-March 2017

    Just got back from Disneyland with the family. Of course spent a lot of time in Tomorrowland (never been to Disneyland so had to get used to Star Wars stuff being in Tomorrowland vs Disney Hollywood Studios like in Disneyworld). Anyway, was very impressed with what Disney has done there. Great SW theme music (although all from Ep IV) blasting throughout as you walk around. Also had a squad of 2 New Order Stormtroopers patrolling the crowd randomly. They were awesome - got the stormtrooper electronic voice down perfectly. If you tried to stop them to take a picture they would say, "No imaging devices - we are on patrol". They would randomly stop people in the crowd - they stopped a lady on one of those electric carts and told her she should "slow down as you are causing a disturbance!" Finally they stopped and we got pix with the kids. Spent a lot of time in the Launch Bay - chock full of props from original trilogy, TFA and R1. Especially liked the ships - great looking Y-wing, U-Wing, Stardestroyer and both T-65 and T-70 X-wings. Plus Cassian's blaster from R1 was awesome. Been to both launch bays, DW and DL and have to say like DL better. Got pix with Chewie, Boba Fett and Darth Vader. Boba was ornery and very well in character. Vader was downright scary!! In the Star Wars store next to Star Tours there is this nearly life size T-65 X-Wing hanging from the ceiling! My 3 boys and I screamed like school girls when we saw it!!!     Great post. Wow they have loads of props on display. That x wing hanging from the celing looks awesome.
