It's not something we have done in the past, this has always been a winner-takes-all game. And depending on how the playoffs go, it's honestly still anyone's game since the scoring increases here in Pickem as do the real-world NFL stakes.

That being said, I am working on some fun tweaks to make the game resemble more of an NFL format during the season as well as from season-to-season. So there will be certain benefits to those who finish lower in the standings and wish to continue playing next year (resembling the benefits of having a high draft choice). And I am also working on integrating some other trophies and prizes (cantina-based) along the way instead of just the one Super Bowl Trophy™.

Hang tight. I like to think we've improved this game as much as we have seen it grow since I inherited it a few years ago. I don't want to over-complicate it but I think we have a solid group of dedicated players here and I also recognize that with how long this takes to play out, there should be some additional incentive along the way!

Sunday:

Rebels @ Walkers
Both the Rebels (6-9) and Walkers (5-10) need a Gungan loss to have any hope of advancing, but they need to win this game first.




Sith @ Zabraks
If the Sith (10-5) can't take care of business on their own against the Zabraks (4-10-1) they will need some help to advance on to the postseason.




Droidekas @ Jawas
Having locked up their division title, the Droidekas (12-3) will be resting some of their heaviest hitters in a game that is win-and-in for the hopeful Jawas (10-5).




Greedos @ Banthas
It's another win-and-in game for the Greedos (10-5) as they take on the Banthas (12-3) who have already clinched a playoff berth and division title.



Wattos @ B-1s
The Wattos (11-4) have secured a division title and playoff berth but are hoping for more as they take on the suddenly over-achieving B-1s (6-9).



Royal Guards @ Twi'leks
Both the Royal Guards (8-7) and the Twi'leks (9-6) have injured field generals, and the timing couldn't be worse as the loser of this game is eliminated from postseason contention.



Mandalorians @ Reeks
Having just suffered a humiliating defeat, the Mandalorians (10-5) still have a chance to win their division with a win against the Reeks (4-11) who aren't going to the playoffs but would love to play spoiler to their divisional foe.




Hutts @ Wampas
The Hutts (12-3) have nothing to lose but a first-round bye as they take on their divisional rival Wampas (8-7) who need a win or a loss by the Royal Guards to advance.



Sunday Night:

Gungans @ Yodas
The Naboo Football Team (6-9) holds their destiny in their hands and can advance to the playoffs with a win against their eliminated-but-dangerous rival, the Yodas (4-10-1).
