    My favourite action based music was the arrival of the Resistance at Takodana.
    I had so many goosebumps during this whole scene. This scene was so beautifully made. IMO this was 100% Star Wars.

    Ways of the force is a close second, but I'll give the nod to the Finalizer escape because it works in a couple of new themes early in the movie in a great and seamless way that helps the audience connect with the resistance march. It also gives a great push to the quick build of the Poe/Finn friendship. Without the Williams music, that scene could have come off cheesy or forced. Instead we get a bright bit of adventure early in the film that ties us to two new characters and some new themes.

    It's definitely The Resistance for me - combines X-wings coming across the water and Poe smoking everyone ("This is one hell of a pilot!"). :D

    well that track was not in the movie, that's the "concert version" from the retail version, choose the above veriosn haha lol :p, you must choose "the resistance".

    i'm going with "The Abduction". that moment when Finn sees Kylo Ren carrying Rey to the gangplank and goes tearing after her screaming ~ just immense.

    you know he's never going to catch up and even if he did, what can he do.
    and yet he runs.
    and the music swells.

    okay, so that's only the last 50 seconds or so of the piece, but what a great 50 seconds! love it love it love it.

    p.s. i don't really consider "Starkiller" in the same vein, but that's my first favorite piece of the whole soundtrack.

    I like that bit when Rey and Finn are catching up to Han and Chewie before they make it on the MF...

    Does that bit when Kylo makes Rey fall unconscious and he catches her in his arms count?

    I love the scene when Finn notices Kylo with Rey and he runs after them but knows he's too powerless and too late to stop Kylo in that moment.

    This melody hits a balance between melancholy and longing.

    ... And the exact motif recurres in track " torn apart" at the very end... ;) it's linked to Kylo.

    Holy hard pick Batman!
    Out of the 10 I love 8 of them!

    I had to pick "The Abduction". I've been infatuated with it ever since the film. Finn running after Rey, Han looking upon his son for the first time in a long time, as he carries away his niece (YUP). It's hauntingly beautiful.
