    This thread could have been tagged "Humor" or "Speculation"... I put Spoiler since it's spoiling stuff from the movie.

    Alright.

    Snoke is dead.
    But, what it Darth Plagueis managed to cheat dead by re-emerging as Snoke... then dies...
    Then, at the end, you see Kylo and Rey having these Skype-Force moments, sign that Snoke/Plagueis is maybe still alive...

    Rebirth by possessing the Young Broom Boy's soul.
    So... at the end of the movie... Plagueis has managed once again to cheat death and is now in a new body as a kid.

    I know, I drink too much.

    Plagues was cheated first time by Palpatine by getting drunk, than palpatine..er killed him.
    This time he really looked more wise, and sober actually
    until the very last moment ....

    Light side are blue ghosts, dark side animate corpses to continue after physical death. When DP di d he became one with the dark side and now animates force sensitive corpse.

    He fully expected Kylo to kill him to complete his training.

    I'm yet to see the movie for the second time, but Snoke looked like he was expecting Kylo to do what he did , i wouldn't rule it out .
    About Darth Plagueis well, only the force and the porgs know ...

    Both Snoke and Rey saw Kylo's future action but none of them interpreted them the right way. Snoke didn't think that Kylo could turn against him, while Rey believed that Kylo killing of his master meant that he was done with the First Order. That's actually a very common theme in Star Wars - characters predicting the future, but not being able to interpret it the right way.

    It appears Rain Johnon himself now more than admits Snoke could have been Plagueis, though it is now not important anymore.

    I have not time to scroll did anyone mentioned this: Snoke weared golden RING which has black kyber crystal. (TLJ Visual Dictionary, by Pablo Hidalgo), which was crafted by ancient Dwartii.

    Dwartii are mentioned only one single time ever in Star Wars lore.

    In the book "Darth Plagueis ".

    ***EPISODE IX Spoilers*** Because of course, I read the synopsis.


    The movie takes place 4-5 years after The Last Jedi.

    Our heroes, including Finn, Rey, Rose and BB8 are ambushed by the new Empire and they are forced to crash on Planet Cantonica.
    They need a spare part to go back to hyperspace.
    They stumble on this broom boy/Plagueis in disguise.
    He propose to get the missing part by participating in a Fathier Race.
    After winning the race, he joins the party and ultimately fights Rey on Mustafar.
